Some of you have come across the bug where your weapon will always belong to a faction no matter what it says when you buy it. seemingly getting stuck on whatever faction you first equipped other than NEU.
Well I have found a very easy fix for this bug for your currently equipped weapon.

1. Download Notepad++

2. Disable cloud saving for steam just to be safe.

3. Back up your save files located in common>Sanctuaryrpg>DATA.

4. Edit your characters save file located in this folder and scroll down until you see the only place that mentions factions on lines 372 through 374.

5. Edit the middle faction to match your faction.

6. Save

7. have fun!

For example:
372: [RES]
373: [BRO]
374: [NEU]

or any variance of this using the factions in the game. For this example [RES] is your character's Faction, [BRO] is the weapon faction, and i'm guessing at one point they thought about making armor faction's a thing as well but did not. So edit [BRO] to be {RES] and your current weapon will be RES giving you the attack bonus when otherwise you may never be able to get it unless you undid your faction and redistributed.
