Soloing a T Rex.
By Sarge
I know alot of people already know this but for those who dont this might be a handy tool to know how to solo a T Rex.

To solo a T Rex you need one of the following 3, a steep rocky ledge, a big tree, or a big boulder.

Most usefull weapons are ( when you dont ammo cheat ) 308 rifle, Talon hunting bow and Shotgun with Slugs. I know the .700 and.50 are superb but they are very heavy and you almost never find ammo for them.

If you can lure T rex towards a steep rocky ledge its the easiest way, you get up as far as you can, and Rex wont be able to get up, giving you an easy shooting session.

Likewise with the big tree ( the tree's with the hiding holes in them ) dont hide in it walk around it and play a lethal game of tag with rex, its very easy to accomplish.

Last resort is the big boulder if nothing else is close and rex saw you already, get on top of it and shoot rex, mostly it will just stand there while you shoot it, if he does however get up on the rock or very near to it you have to run around the boulder and get back on it, this is a tough part of the boulder chase, you will die sometimes.

Always shoot a rex in the chest area, shooting at its head ( unless you get a lucky brain hit ) or legs or backside is a waste of ammo )

Hope this helps.

May the bullets be with you.

I've killed a couple T-Rexs with one shot with the Shotgun with slugs but you need to be up close and I'm I've genuinly just ran up to him and one shot him you do have to shoot at the upper body however if you wanna do the maximum damage or if you're infront of him then you want to shoot inbetween his arms to kill him with one shot.

Yea the worst i had in Utah Valley was my record of 34 utah kills lol, theres only 1 way to survive there find a big tree and use a hole, not the big hole but most of those tree's have a part at the back you can also hide in, then utahs cant reach you, while you take them out.

Might I add, When the Utahs spot and run at you, back up a bit that way when they stop you are a little bit closer to them. Also, if many Utahs are the problem try to get high ground and pick them off with a ranged weapon. If that isnt possible get on the ground and just wait for them to slowly come to you, might be able to get one or two before they pack starts heading your way.

:orb::gilma:Thanks for the tip but I know that :D just generally its really hard pressured when your fighting groups of 6-10 utahs, especially in Utah Valley. Just overkill unless you knock a few out at a time.:cu: I have been a long time player for this game and just came back to it :D Lvl 49 rn and haven't played for 4 months. Just a lil rusty and getting into it again. Part of me feels like im better off facing 2-4 rex's that are in a vicinity of 250 meters rather than a group of utahs simultaneously running after me.:orb::gilma: :dilo:

Utahs are actually very easy Dionysus, make sure that you have a shotgun with buckshot ammo, a utah will always when it charges screetch, it runs past you, stops, turns then makes its attack, wait untill it ran past you and stops, a perfect target for buckshot, 1 shot 1 kill.

for me I prefer a duel rather than a camp. This method is great for new players though :) They can learn how to perfect shots on them. Then when ready and prepared and they learned how to head on rex's, they can easily 2 shot them with talon bow.

Mehta. This is indeed a good method. But most long term players like me take easy route and go head on with rex's

Although it is scary and you Sh*t yourself infront of them, they become well easy opponets. The hardest animal for me is utah's. Rex's are beyond easy now. It is either instant death or survive lol.:luger:

Sorry for late respawns lol, Yea ill think about it, doesnt seem alot of players the game anymore :) Also i left out as save spots the fallen logs you can stand on, because on quiete a few a rex will just pluck you off it.
