No other gamemode exists except for capture the flag. Now, the correct map to choose is 2fort. 2fort is the best map in the game and is also the most balanced one. Of course, engineer takes a lot of skill. So the first thing you need to do is equip the Texas Ten Gallon.


What the Texas Ten Gallon does is that it ensures your team that you are a true Texan turret spawner main. After you walk out of the respawn room with your hat, the next step is to build a sentry. A common and extremely good place to put your sentry is next to other sentries. This will make the sentries kill people faster. To save yourself the walk to the respawn room, just take another engineer's dispenser metal. Oh, and also, no other building exists except for the sentry. Don't build teleporters or dispensers. If another engineer builds any of these buildings, don't worry about it. He just sucks at the game, so he needs to build extra buildings. And remember, only your sentry is important. Who cares about another engineer's building? They can take care of themselves. It is also doubly important to stand still while repairing or building your sentry. It conserves energy. This is a sort of good weapon when playing the Texan turret spawner. The best way to use it is, of course, to pair it up with the gunslinger. It has great synergy with the gunslinger.

The Frontier Justice gives you free crits when your sentry gun is destroyed, depending on how many people the sentry gun has killed. The best way to use these crits is to use them when checking for invisible spies and destroying enemy buildings. It would make you look more handsome.

The Widowmaker is a complete upgrade from the stock shotgun. Use it to shoot the farthest enemy away from you. It also does extra damage to disguised and invisible spies, so use it to spycheck too.

This gun has 200 bullets. Just spam it everywhere. It doesn't matter if you actually hit someone.

The Wrangler makes your sentry better. What you need to do is to pick a place and aim at that place with the Wrangler. Keep on aiming at it until the enemy comes by, and then fire. This is the best way to use this weapon. Also, don't pay attention to any cloaking noises behind you while you are doing this. The cloaking noises are just a glitch with the Wrangler that Valve needs to fix.

It is obvious that to use the true potential of this weapon, one must swing it randomly at opposing player. It will have a 90% chance to instakill anyone coming your way, so remember to use it.

What type of person settles for a weapon that does less damage? Jeez.

This weapon gives you more health and the ability to instakill anyone who gets hit by you 3 times from it. It also gives you access to the minisentry. Simply spam the minisentry around every corner. I mean, it only costs 100 metal. After enough spamming, you'll be able to wipe every scout on the enemy team and annoy everyone else.

This weapon makes people bleed at the cost of not being able to instakill. Run at people with this weapon and whack them. Make sure to especially run head on with the pyro.
