Vanilla U.S. Army Rank Structure

This is a simple mod to replace the vanilla rank structure by one based on the U.S. Army. I had been using Wolfe's USMC Ranks Overhaul mod so I tried to match those ranks to have an equivalent. I choose to leave out the Staff Sergeant and Sergeant Major ranks for the enlisted and the Second Lieutenant for the officers. I wanted the eigth rank to be a captain.

Here is the new structure:

Rookie = Private (PVT)
Squaddie = Private First Class (PFC)
Corporal = Corporal (CPL)
Sergeant = Sergeant (SGT)
Lieutenant = Sergeant 1st Class (SFC)
Captain = Master Sergeant (MSG)
Major = 1st Lieutenant (1LT)
Colonel = Captain (CPT)
Brigadier = Major (MAJ)


If you'd like to modify the ranks on your end, it is pretty simple: locate the mod folder, then the localization folder and edit the XComGame.int file.

I made this mod to go with my U.S. Army Rank Flags and chose ranks that I personally use. You could use pretty much any ranks within the U.S. Army structure by editing the XComGame.int file.
