//Controls

Movement is basic:

W = Move Up
A = Move Left
S = Move Down
D = Move Right

You use the mouse to aim, and holding down left click shoots. For best results, run the game in fullscreen mode (Button On The Menu or Alt+Tab Alternatively) so that you don't accidentally click on something you shouldn't. (Thanks to the community for pointing this out). If you prefer windowed mode, try to not let go of the left mouse button. This way you can't click outside the window. We don't measure your accuracy, I promise!

Strong spaceships generally compromise speed in exchange for a better firerate or damage output, this is why it's best to make sure you need to go into the direction that you're moving. Also, make sure to survey your surroundings. Seeing a bullet one second before it hits you could be one second too late!

Try to stay in the center of the map at all times if possible. The corners will destroy you, so getting cornered is almost always a bad idea.

//Score

Ranking up requires a certain amount of score, and that amount increases each time you rank up. The following advice is rather critical! Picking up multipliers is really important. Every star you pick up will grant an additional 5 points per kill, so it really adds up. It might be risky to go for the stars sometimes, but use your own judgement to decide.

//Spaceships

All classes in Gal-X-E is unique in the way that it plays and feels. Some have a high rate of fire, but lower accuracy and damage. These spray and pray classes are generally meant for those who can't aim that well yet. (We believe your aim will improve though!)

If you're already feeling MLG 3 PRO 5 U, then it might be best to grab a more accurate class. The heavy ship and the sniper should be ideal.

//Hangar

As you rank up, you can open crates of a higher rarity. The higher the rarity, the higher the damage output and speed of the spaceships, as well as increased acceleration abilities. All 6 ships of each rarity have an equal chance of being distributed in their respective crates, so unboxing 3 shotguns consecutively probably means that you've seen a black cat or walked underneath a ladder that day.

//Enjoy

Now that you've learned some new skills, we encourage you to go ahead and break your highscore! As more features are added, we'll update this guide as well!
