Weapons
Upon awakening, in general, Staffs and Rods give 500 points and 1.2 multiplier to MAT stat. The rest of the weapons (Swords, Bows, Spears, Guns, etc.) give 500 points and 1.2 multiplier to ATK stat.

There are some exceptions to the rules above:
  • ✩Magic Sword gives only 100 points to ATK stat.
  • ✩Kanasugi Staff doesn't have awakening multiplier on any of the stats.
  • ✩Dark Lord Staff gives multiplier on ATK stat instead of MAT stat.
Apart from that, awakened weapons may also boost any of the other stats (ATK, MAT, DEF, MDF, LUK, AGI). The total stat points given by a single awakened weapon can go up to 1500 points (excluding effect of multipliers). Since the stats of the awakened weapons are arbitrary, please check the list below for details of each of the weapons.

For example, starting with a "naked" character with base ATK 5000 and base LUK 5000, equipping ✩End Axe will raise the ATK stat to (5000 + 500) * 1.2 = 6600 and LUK stat to 5500.

Similarly, starting with a "naked" character with base ATK 5000 and base MAT 5000, equipping ✩End Rod will raise the ATK stat to 5500 and MAT stat to (5000 + 500) * 1.2 = 6600.

The multiplier does stack with multipliers from other equipment.

For example, if a character with base ATK 5000 equips ✩Demon Knuckle, C-Attack Ring, ATK+, the ATK stat would become (5000 + 500 + 250) * 1.1 * 1.2 * 1.5 = 11385 (the 1.1 mutiplier comes from Demon Knuckle's characteristic).

According to the game, awakened weapons will retain their characteristics, so don't worry about the weapon losing the special effects, and don't hope that the weapon gaining any new special effect.

Since there are 129 awakenable weapons to choose from, and there are many weapons which are strictly inferior to other weapons, I have provided a filtered list in Good Awakened Weapons section.

Good Awakened Weapons
The following list of good awakened weapons is derived by filtering away weapons which are completely inferior to one of the weapons below. While not all of those in the list below are great, you can be sure that no other weapon in the list has higher stat boost for those particular combination while retaining the same characteristics.

For example, ✩Staff +500 MAT, x1.2 MAT, +300 LUK doesn't look great, but can you find any weapon that +500 MAT, x1.2 MAT and boosts at least 300 LUK? No.

Therefore, the list only serves as a starting point to choose a good weapon for awakening. Use your own discretion to decide which one is better for your favorite character.

Armors
Upon awakening, all armors increase the corresponding stats (MAT for Arm, MDF for Head, DEF for Body) by 500 points, and multiply the stat by 1.1 times.

Unlike weapons, armors, without exception, don't increase any other stat.

For example, starting with a "naked" character with base DEF 5000, equipping any awakened Body Armor (e.g. ✩Plain Clothes, ✩Final Armor) will raise the DEF stat to (5000 + 500) * 1.1 = 6050.

The multiplier does stack with multipliers from other equipment.

For example, if a character with base MAT 5000 equips ✩End Rod, ✩End Ring and MAT+, the MAT stat would become (5000 + 500 + 500) * 1.2 * 1.1 *1.5 = 11800.

Since all awakened armors are equal in terms of stat boosts, it's best to awaken armors with additional effects rather than plain armors.

The information of awakened weapons in this guide is largerly based on Equipment[seesaawiki.jp] page on Hero and Daughter Wiki[seesaawiki.jp] (Japanese), which is written based on the free version of the game (version 2.8.2).

However, in order to make sure the guide is still relevant to the latest version of the game, I made sure to check through all the items for any changes from the free version (including the characteristics), and compare with the English version of the game. Therefore, you can rest assure that the information is accurate to the version indicated above.

good stuff, there are almost no guides out there detailed as this one, i truly want "to the point" in all my characters to farm stuff.
