To "--" in the comments, I noticed you said "...you're trying to explain physics by using Umihara as an example,"
To clarify, I am not trying to use Umihara as an example for explaining physics. I am explaining the physics in Umihara Kawase because I believe those are the actual physics in the game as was demonstrated.
It is evidenced from this article http://www.usgamer.net/articles/indie-before-it-was-cool-the-umihara-kawase-story
Because of the comments text limit I can't get all the paragraphs in here. Go to the link and read where it starts at:
"You could even argue that physics are the whole point of the game." and read all the text from there to the end of "But I feel like, in general, there weren’t that many people out there who noticed the physics."
I did the text as subtitles as I didn't want to use audio and that I tried to space it in timing so that people could keep up the pace reading it. The font is huge so that people do not have trouble reading it.
As you suggested, everyone has different ways of learning or taking in information. Mine is textual/visual, for someone else it could be audial or even tactile. So it can be difficult catering for everyone.
If I get the time in a few days, I'll copy the subtitles from the video and post the transcript here in the guide but, I don't want to add in images/gifs that explain things because as you said I spent a lot of time making that video and I would have to spend even more time uploading images/gifs that would have to be in order with the text.
I acknowledge your feedback.
While I think it's cool you're trying to explain physics by using Umihara as an example, the video is quite bothersome to watch

like this.
I can see and appreciate the effort you put into making your guide, but this kind of in-depth tutorial / physics lesson would lend itself way better to a textual form (using pictures and small sample clips) in my opinion.
Not saying you should redo the tutorial, but I thought you might like some feedback.
Well, thanks for doing this. I learned a new stunt :)
