"This is just a simple starfield effect which will be used for an upcoming space invader clone, was created using just simple pixels of sizes between 2x2 to 8x8 which are square but give the illusion of being round which in turn looks like stars but actually isn't at all.

Was created by using a custom engine written by me with the aim of simulating classic 8 bit character sets namely the C64 as inspiration, an existing engine or game maker just isn't authentic enough to give that true Retro look and feel but is currently running at 30 frames per second which suits this game really well. Running the game at 60 fps although really nice just doesn't give a true Retro feel about it but it was great programming this little effect and was created for PC."
