What is this HARD9 hype about?
Once upon a time, Zombie Scenario was very boring with players just whizzing through levels, shooting at anything that moves. Rewards weren't that great either; you achieve an S-rank, a 3-days durability metal. I HATE THIS **** GAME!

Nexon saw the woes, and realized they had to retain the interests in Zombie Scenario. So all zombies staffs were summoned to the Headquarters, and they hatched a plan to restructure the whole game mode by introducing different difficulties and rewards. Of course the most difficult one of them all is HARD9.

What are the major changes? Higher zombies difficulty, longer respawn time, quicker rate of levelling up and ultimately, better loots at the end of the round.

ARE YOU CRAZY? HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DEFEAT THEM ZOMBIES? *RAGEQUIT*

But with HARD9, you're guaranteed to receive a top-tier reward in addition to the (HARD9) reward box. Here's a sneak peek:

You could get this, every single day. Don't you want it? Read the rest of this guide then!
Weapons of Choice?
In Zombie Scenario HARD9, your choices have been severely restricted to a handful of anti-zombie arsenals. Even the highly sought-after Buff Weapons (AK47 Paladin and M4A1 Dark Knight) are considered underpowered when purple, green and red zombies bearing several thousand health points each are outnumbering your team.

Below are the recommended arsenals you should be possessing before undertaking any HARD9 missions:
1) GAE BOLG

This speargun, while doesn't supercede other anti-zombie arms in terms of damage offsets this with its harpoon which pulls back enemies quite a distance before exploding. This provides your team more breathing room to actually utilize stronger weapons against them. When facing a horde of zombies, there's nothing better than a bunch of Gae Bolg users firing harpoons.

2) THANATOS-7

Excellent in barrier breaking (particularly on Rush maps), the THANATOS-7 massive blade cuts through them like a hot knife on butter. Now with the sheer zombies's strengths, several THANATOS-7 users are vital to continue pushing through the map checkpoints before they could be surrounded by the undead or trapped back to the start.

Also for bosses, it is one of the best performers.

3) BALROG-11

Ever since THANATOS and VULCANUS came into the picture, the older series have lost their charms. Not with the BALROG-11 though, which still sees its usefulness in Zombie Scenario. With its 7 explosive shells, they are one of the quickest way for users to level up and hopefully kill weaker zombies that are holding them back.

4) THANATOS-5

While not recommended for pushing, this rifle excels in defence especially in narrowed spaces. The secondary fire launches a blade grenade which explodes into several child grenades thrice, effectively wiping out a closely-knitted group of zombies. To reiterate, the THANATOS-5 is meant to be a support weapon.

5) THANATOS-9

When reloading weapons are too long or you're out of ammo, the THANATOS-9 is the last resort. Thanks to its fearsome stab damage in a matter of seconds, it is a perfect combo for THANATOS-7 users for breaking barriers. Even if you're not, the blades would rip through zombies. Just be aware of Venom Guards as they're walking time bombs (literally).

6) MAGNUM DRILL

Unless the next major decoding event comes around, the Magnum Drill remains a Character-Collection exclusive for now. Sporting a massive drill, this auto-shotgun deals the largest amount of justice in just one serving. Both modes have a very impressive damage output for barrier breaking, crowd clearing and killing bosses.

Remember, only made for those rich kids.
What Map?
With the HARD9 update, your choice of maps suddenly becomes very restrictive. Always thought Toxicity was a piece of cake? Not anymore when the hordes you face now could trap everyone in a corner in just seconds.

So which map is the best? Double Gate. Previously, Trap took reign but it required 9 humans to sacrifice their lives while the remaining survivor runs around the map for 3 minutes, repeating for the next four rounds. In pubs, this proved to not always be successful when there are those who don't listen and wreak havoc, losing the round.

Double Gate, a defence map lays out a pretty simple structure. There are two lanes (A and B) with the players' spawn in the middle, and all we have to do is defend our base from being overwhelmed by zombies. Players could also upgrade the gate defences in order to extend their durability.

How long does it take? Less than 20 minutes daily and you could complete this twice.
Ready, Steady, ACTION!
Now you've read that Double Gate is the surefire way for your daily goodies, we begin:

1) ROUND 1 - GET A GAE BOLG/ THANATOS-5.
Not everyone has it, so if you do or if someone happens to drop it, take it and upgrade the gate defences. Now you've two choices:

GAE BOLG
Run to the A-gates and start firing at the zombies. This would slow them down a little and you'd be strapped with cash. Right after the barriers are broken, run back to the spawn point and start purchasing Gae Bolgs/ THANATOS-5/ BALROG-11 for everyone else:

THANATOS-5
Good for B-gates. B-gates have a much wider space than A-gates but this allows the T5 grenades to spread more effectively. From the image below, it is recommended to have two of these users here, and one guarding the gate (with BALROG-11/ Gae Bolg/ THANATOS-5):

In a matter of time, A-gates would have swarms of zombies rushing through the alley so with Gae Bolg and BALROG-11 in hand, fire away.

With Juggernauts making their way, things get heated up. But they're not quite smart as humans, so this tend to happen:

When things start to go south, your best bet would be going into hiding. Based on the image below, the zombies would likely go for the defence on the right, followed by the left and finally the one marked with two directions:

2) ROUND 2 ONWARDS - RINSE AND REPEAT
So congrats on passing Round 1. Round 2 onwards would be pretty much the same, except with many having the choice arsenals. Same rules apply. And after spending 16 minutes, the reward is yours!

Cooldown is between 11-12 hours, so you could repeat this twice in one day.

Got the Medal of Double Gate.

Also, the cooldown always resets at midnight, so you can do it only once a day.

Also, DO NOT TRY to stack hard 9 boxes. It will tell that you have failed to "upgrade" your box, so you'll always have to open it before obtaining another.

T5 is a backup weapon because it doesn't have sheer firepower against mobile targets

Alright, i wrote nonsense at begining, it's not Thanatos 5 fault.

Most games crashes at wave 1, because everyone picks thanatos 5, whose are good only while in safe distance. if zombies break barriers, most of people die. And since the Gae-Bolg is still rarely seen, i rather use Balrog 11.

I think the M4a1 (Royal Paladin) and AK47 (Dark knight) also are viable for this.
Hard9 gives you a massive reward, 30x perfect enhancements, 15x special, 500 days Oberon´s horn, god damn man.
