Boosters/Cheats!
Final Fantasy IX has been released on the steam network yesterday and along with the mobile devices there are 7 cheats or "boosters" as the game devs describe them.

You can head to config screen in your Menu to activate 3 of them: Master Abilities, Level/Mag stone Max, and Gil Max.
WARNING: Activating these is permanent! You can't disable these in game so be wise on how you want to play the game!

But what about the other four boosters/cheats? Well you can't find them in any menus.

Instead Pause the game (not the menu pause) which can be done by pressing Backspace on the keyboard or start on a controller.
This can be done ANYTIME on the overworld or in battle so keep that in mind.

On the Pause Screen you can hit a few buttons to ACTIVATE or DEACTIVATE the other 4 boosters:

9999 Damage Toggle: Press F on the Keyboard or LT on the Controller. This makes every hit do 9999 Damage if it lands.

Full meters Toggle: Press G on the Keyboard or LB on the Controller. ATB and Trance meter is full during battle at all times. This also applies to the ablities bar for spells.

Fast Forward Toggle: Press H on the Keyboard or RB on the Controller. This puts the game into super speed making battle, moving around the overworld, conversation, etc. move at 10x the normal gameplay.
NOTE: you can still get achievements while this is toggled on. Thank You DeXni for finding that out.

No Random Encounters: Press J on the Keyboard or RT on the Controller. This one explains itself.

Remember: all boosters can be enabled at once not just one at a time.

I hope this helps you guys with the game. Remember to have fun!

Thanks a lot for this! It helps a lot with the Chocobo Hot and Cold sidequest.

@Evja Not for in battles but I believe there are save states outside of battle.

What about savestates?

@Evja I do not think you can do that with how the game is. You would have to probably code that into the game's code folders if you want to be able to go to the main menu during cutscenes.

Is there a cheat for getting back to main menu during cutscenes?

One thing regarding to the Fast Forward booster: The game clock is NOT fast forward, so combination of J and H is a big help if you want to complete Excalibur II

Full meters is so annoying since you have to watch the trance animation for everybody every single time you enter battle, accidentally turned it on earlier trying to run (my controller's triggers are select and pause to the game for some reason and bumpers work as triggers and nothing is bumpers... >_>) Also fast forward sometimes makes it so it's almost impossible to interact with things, the exclamation bubble just reverses colors and nothing happens when I hit X, clicking works perfeclty though

Just something to make note of, while Master Abilities, Max Stones/Level, and Max Gil are indeed considered "permanent", Master Abilities, at least, deactivates after closing the game and using the "Continue" option. Also, it has already been confirmed that use of the boosters in no way affects achievements.
