1. Cheat Codes

Press Ctrl + E together or Ctrl + W together and wait for a low double tone.
Then enter one of the following codes for the desired effect.

knowitall = Activate Full Research
smarms = Arms Dealer Side Mission
quickbase = Construction Completed on All Bases
smrecon = Corporate Recon Side Mission
canttouchthis = Invincibility
payday = More Money
joyride = No Aliens
smnova = Nova Bomb Side Mission
smrescue = Pirate Base Rescue Side Mission
smrogue = Rogue Freighter Side Mission
fillerup = Unlimited Flight Range Time

2. Cheats in battle

Press Ctrl+E until you hear the double tone. Type 'battlecheats'. (Without the marks.)
You will now be able to do certain cheats in battle!

Alt + X = Cycle Weapons
Alt + ` (on an English Keyboard) = Destroy Target
Alt + # (on an American Keyboard) = Destroy Target
Alt + O = Suicide

@phil_dobernigg You need to get the patch to fix the bug for this issue with the probes being too far away. Interceptor_eng_xp_1.2.exe

Surprised this one ain't on steam to fix it :(

The main reason I want this cheat, to destroy targets, is because I have the glitch where the bases and probes are like a trillion miles away and you can't close the distance to them. I have tried importing files into the main directory to solve this as per other forums, but I can't get that to work either.

The E key and W key create their own rapid beeping noise. If I hit Crlt after I hit E or W, then it makes the rapid beeping stop, but I don't hear a tone. Do you have to be on a special screeen? I am doing it on the main, Campain Strategic Display Screen.

I can't get these cheats to work. I hold down Crtl+E and have tried holding down Crtl+W but I don't hear this double tone. What screen do I need to be on for this to work? Hold long am I supposed to hold it down?
