Skyrim Basics
So you are new to skyrim and have no idea what you are doing? I will now tell you about what Skyrim is and what is happening in Tamriel (Tamriel is where Skyrim is placed) I will talk about the civil war, what it means to be a dragonborn and many more things so lets go! (Keep in mind this guide is still a work in progress and will get longer and better after feedback from you guys)

Dragonborn
So you played trough the tutorial of the game and you've beaten your first dragon and the guards calls you Dragonborn, what is he talking about? Is it possible that your mom and dad was dragons? Is it because you were raised by dragons? No Dragonborn is a human which soul and blood is the dragon kind. You are the one that will save Tamriel you are the one who will save the world. The Prophecy of the Dragonborn, generally attributed to the Elder Scrolls, and sometimes to the ancient Akaviri, tells that, at the end of time, in the wake of the World-Eater, the wheel will turn upon the "Last Dragonborn.

Does being a Dragonborn make you invinsible? Does he ever get old and sick? Dragonborn is a morthal just like almost everyone else, the Dragonborn does get old and finally dies. He does get sick just like everyone else.

This is just the basic of Skyrim but i will not go deeper into the lore because then this guide would be a 25 page essay. But know you know the early basics of Skyrim.
Races, Playstyles and Classes
So you are wondering what race is the best and what race you should pick for your new character? Well it's simple it depends on that ''class'' and what playstyle you are looking to play as. You may not choose the same race if you play as an warrior then what you would as a mage. So i will try to guide you trough this part of the game.

Altmer (High Elves)
Altmer is the native people of Summerset Isle and are High Elves. So if you are going to play as a Altmer a good idea is to play as an mage, because one of the Altmers abilities is that they start with 50 more magica than other races and that can help a ton in the early stages of the game. They do also have an ability that makes them regenerate magica 25 times as fast but it can only be used once per day, Altmer also starts with the Fury spell.

Crafting
Smithing
So you have played Skyrim for a bit you know the basics and you want to get some better items well then crafting is the way for you! So smithing is basically the only real crafting thing in Skyrim except houses. When you start smithing you will only know how to craft the very basic stuff, how to make leather and iron armor and weapons. But you will get better with time and you will learn how to make steel, dwarwen, elven, glass and even deadric armors and weapons. To start smithing you will need some ores or ingots, ores and ingots can be purchased at your local blacksmith but ores can also be mined. When you have your ingots smithing will be as easy like counting to 1, 2, 3.

Housing
So you just bought the Hearthfire DLC and you just bought your own piece of land in either Hjaalmarch, Falkreath or The Pale. Now you are probably wondering how you should start building your house. Well first of you should head to the closest lumber mill and buy some timber for your house. I have only used the home at Falkreath but at the Lakeview manor you can mine Clay and stone just outside of the manor so you should not need to buy that from your local vendor. After you got all the materials building a house is pretty straight forward, click that, click that, choose that and click that.

Enchanting
THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS BECAUSE I AM STILL AT THE BASICS OF ENCHANTING BECAUSE I AM TO LAZY TO ENCHANT ITEMS EVEN WITH 200 HOURS OF SKYRIM!
Alchemy
Alchemy
So you want to become an potion brewer? Well it is not as complicated as you think. To start of with you will need some resources to make and discover different potions. Resources can be bought from nearly all the vendors. After you have your resources it is just as bulding a house very straight forward and easy to do. You may have to waste alot of resources to get just the perfect potion for you but in the end it is worth it.

THIS IS ALSO A WORK IN PROGRESS AND WILL GET LONGER AS TIME GOES.

Console Commands
tgm

Good ol' God Mode means you're completely invulnerable to everything, and pretty damn god-like. And no one needs to write a book about you or anything.

tcl

No clipping lets you go literally anywhere in the game world, from the top of the sky to the bottom of the, er, sky. Fascinating if you want to witness the game world.

unlock

Can't find that vital key? Lockpicking skill too low? Simply highlight the door or chest you want to unlock, and type "unlock" into the console. If only this worked in real life.

psb

Every single item in Skyrim has a code, a bit like an Argos catalogue of fantasy objects. You'll find them in our list of Skyrim item codes (link pending) - replace "ITEM" with the item's code, and "###" with the number of items you want. Now your dreams of owning 47 cabbage potato soups can come true. You can find the codes in our Skyrim item codes post.

player.additem 0000000f ###

A simple way to get some free gold - any number between 001 and 999 will do.

addshout

Combine with the codes on this Wikia page to add your selected shout.

tm

tmm

Followed by 0 or 1 turns map markers on or off.

tfc

Not Team Fortress Classic, unfortunately. However, you will be able to access the flycam and pretend to be a dragon. This is how everyone gets all those amazing Skyrim shots you've seen.

tai

Toggles AI, which means people won't interact with you, or do anything at all.

tcai

Turns combat AI on or off, turning dragons into placid beasts who act like you aren't there. A bit like cats.

resurrect

Target the thing you want to bring back to life, and they'll get up in a very alive manner. You can also use this on live people to respawn them, which can fix awkward problems like Lydia taking off all her clothes for no reason.

qqq

Quit the game without having to go through any of those pesky menus.

removeallitems

Target a character and type this and you'll get all their items - including their clothes. Note: does not work in real life.

"Or are you total pro that just wants to correct my guides?"

You saw me coming.

Still gonna say something about Enchanting though:

-Hang on to any enchanted weapons and armor you find. Next time you're in Whiterun, go to Dragonsreach, up the stairs, turn right, don't go up the second flight of stairs, instead go through a big opening in the wall. There's an enchanting table in that room. Since you have to destroy an item to learn its enchantment, make sure you don't accidentally destroy something you wanted to keep.
Sly-Scale 12 Apr, 2016 @ 4:19pm
-Same deal with soul gems, hoard them. Plus daggers, hoard those too. Daggers are lightweight and plentiful, and enchanting weapons with Fear or Absorb Health nets a lot of experience. You need soul gems, a known enchantment, and items that the enchantment can go on. Ideally you want to pick up a weapon that has Absorb Health or Fear on it (they're expensive enchantments), then start enchanting daggers with one of those two. Doesn't matter the size of soul gem, you'll earn a lot of experience from enchanting weapons anyway.
Sly-Scale 12 Apr, 2016 @ 4:19pm
-You might want to invest in Speech training from the Bards' College in Solitude, make a long-term strategy to buy soul gems at every shop because you can afford to.

-The Soul Trap spell lets you make use of the cheaper empty soul gems, so you can be frugal and still get a lot of soul gems - even turn a profit.

-Faster experience means less enchantings to level up to upgrade your enchanting power. More powerful enchantments means more valuable enchanted items, which means more experience. Remember that. So go with the Mage's Stone, drink Enchanting potions, and have at it.

well i can add someting about enchating and a littel bit about alcemy

its best to dissenchant all early on for skills 0-30 and soul trap is a must have to get the soul gems for skill ups once you have disenchanted most enchant
im useing mods that enable purge enchant on items that i have enchanted but unless you have smithing to make rings and or other items you are gona have to hope you get alot of loot home for enchanting to get it up
Pluto™  [author] 11 Apr, 2016 @ 2:40am
Thank you guys for the feedback, but if you would read the special thanks you would know that i copied the commands from a website because this guide is not really about cheating, commands etc. But some friends wanted me to add it so i just copy and pased it. If you come here for commands then you are at the wrong guide. But thanks for the feedback anyways!
NexionSE of the Cm.G. 10 Apr, 2016 @ 8:58pm
im not sure if this has been pointed out but actors thats you have used "resurrect" on will still be counted as dead by the game unless used on them when they were still alive and also not recomended to use on companions as it might bugg the script out but still viable as a last resort

and also the help command is very good to help find item ID's if you for example want iron ingot for some reason just type help "iron ingot" and it will find it
also good to find the id for that spell/perk that you like so you can use .addperk or .addpspell

its highly not recomended to use "psb" as it will add all spells including non used and duplicas and also very likely to crash the game

also an alternetive to tgm is Tim wich is basicly the same exept you can still bleed in tim but not die that might be required on some quests
Wildmother 10 Apr, 2016 @ 5:41pm
I use showracemenu quite a bit, and I've never had my skills/level reset.
