How to Use the Classic Track Editor (from Maniaplanet) in Trackmania Turbo
By harule
A really simple and small guide to enable the classic track editor in Trackmania Turbo (which in my opinion is much better than the new advanced track editor).

Find and use the Classic Track Editor
Step 1
In the trackbuilder menu, choose any environment you like, and then select "Advanced Mode".
EDIT: It seems like you can pick beginner and normal mode as well. You can choose normal mode if you want a preset landscape.

Step 2
Move your mouse to the top of the screen, and a small bar will appear. Click on the gear icon, and then click on "Classic Trackbuilder".

Step 3
Enjoy the classic, much easier to use, classic track editor!

Other Things to Know
Macroblocks
In the normal track editor, you can for example make a loop or a wallride in just one click. To do this in the classic track editor, click on the macroblock icon on the bottom (looks like 3 cubes aligned together), and a list of macroblocks will appear on the screen. You can then click and add multiple blocks as one.

I've never really understood how people get to grips with the classic editor. There seems to be absolutely no labelling or clear organization at all, it's just one big mess of folders-inside-other-folders, so I can never even find the start pieces whenever I attempt to use it.

I personally think the Advanced Editor is fine, so it's not a huge problem for me, but maybe there's some organizational pattern in the Classic Editor that I haven't worked out yet.

I noticed you can select any track editor you like and select "Classic Trackbuilder"; you don't necessarily have to select the advanced track editor to do that.

I was really panicking on release date when I saw the console editor, found the classic editor on some forum but it's just stupid that it just doesn't do that automatically on PC.

Do you know if you can make your own macro blocks?

Awesome! This guide should help shut up the people that complain about lackluster features before they even go looking for an answer.
