Go to Official Page[radiotrucker.com] , search for items that are marked as Customizable or item you have seen in the game as customizable. Click on "GET TEMPLATE" button. On popup appearing as you press button, you will see STEP-BY-STEP Instructions on how-to. Ofcourse this is only by assuming you have knowledge about templates and how-to save as DDS5 format.

It says I have this mod subed and active, I don't see anything extra in the option for my cab. Is it the service centers that you're supposed to see these at?

As I understand it, the author was hired by SCS. The mod probably won't be updated, but we can expect things like these in the game itself.
