Well, It’s simple. To move the ship around – use arrow keys, and to interact with the interface – use your mouse. You can change game controls in the main menu.

Well, for a start, you can open the Journal and take a look at your mission objectives.











And after you’ve done that – you shall proceed to the coordinates that you will find there. To see the coordinates you must look at the bottom of the right of your screen.

The research mechanic is similar to another game you might know – X-COM. You can appoint scientists on every project you want.









To make the progress faster you need to appoint more scientists on a particular project.

Well, it may seem repetitive, but it’s not entirely true. First of all, you need to pick the landing point for your shuttle. To do that, you need to «Scan» the planet.










In this screen you see all the landing possibilities.










Also you can choose your landing team. You can choose 3 different types of units: scientists, soldiers and engineers. It’s simple – scientists will do a better research of the artifacts, soldiers will be better at combat, and engineers will mine resources faster.










Also while you exploring the planet, you will get “rough geodata”. You can exchange them for the researching points, but also you can take a better look at them with a special science project.

And the last three things:

- You can’t pick scientists that have been appointed to do researches
- You can’t mine resources if your inventory is full
- Don’t forget to check your oxygen level. Some planets might have a breathable atmosphere, but others might not. So you must be careful.

Nothing, really, except repairing your ship using them. Space is full of resources, so other races don’t really need to buy them from you.

Well, it’s simple. Your main goal is to research and explore space. You must bring all the data you acquired back to Earth.










Data that you have delivered will be converted to research points.










You can spend it on some improvement for "Aurora" project.

Well, space is a very dangerous place. Don't forget to carry around a spare red uniform - it's very difficult to see bloodstains on it.

Well, have an inside joke, that our game is a mix between roguelike and visual novel. There is some truth to it, actually.

Simply put – a lot. We will change the interface to make it look better, complete the storyline (more text!), add some quests – little ones(even more text!) and huge ones (MUCH MORE TEXT!). And, also we will add lots and lots of other things, because in the end - AuroraRL is the game of our dreams. And we want to make something great out of it.
