Hello, and welcome to my achievement walkthrough for Day of the Tentacle Remastered!

Free Laverne

Achievement: Complete the game without skipping a cut-scene "Mental Patience"
Achievement: Throughout the game you must flush 50 objects (Using quick flush) "Master Plumber"

As Bernard

Achievement: Press the Service Bell 100 times "Most Annoying Guest Ever"
Go into the office
- Achievement: Close door behind you "Not Raised in a Barn"
- Open portrait
- Pickup Swiss bankbook
- Open drawer
- Pickup the Booboo-B-Gone
Go into foyer
- Pickup flier
- Pickup dime from the payphone
- Pickup help-wanted sign
- Open grandfather clock
- Achievement: "Rap Sheet: Trespasser"

<Cut-scene>

Pickup paper (Right side of room)
Send help-wanted-sign and flier to Hoagie

As Hoagie

Achievement: Let Hoagie idle until he eats a Hoagie "Dude, It's Like, Cannibalism"
Go into house
- Achievement Progress: 1/3 Talk to Dead Cousin Ted
Open the clock, and go through it, down to the lab
- Use help-wanted-sign with Red
- Achievement: Moronic drone
- Pickup lab-coat
- Pickup left-handed-hammer
- Give patent application to Red

As Bernard

Go upstairs, and through the door to the main hall
- Open the grating
- Walk to the chattering-teeth
- Chase the teeth left, and keep doing so until they fall into the grating
- Pickup the chattering teeth
Go through the swinging door into the kitchen
- Pickup the regular-coffee and decaf-coffee
- Achievement: Use the decaf with the regular coffee "And Then the Universe Explodes"
- Pickup the fork
- Achievement: Use fork with microwave "Voiding the Warranty"
Go into the laundry
- Open the cabinet
- Pickup the funnel
Go to Dr Fred's lab
- Use the decaf-coffee with the mug
Go to the 2nd-floor-left room
- Use the TV
- Achievement: Turn off the TV "Energy Conscious"
Go to the 2nd-floor-middle room
- Pickup the disappearing ink
- Achievement: Use the ink on 5 different people "That Joke Never Gets Old"
- Achievement: Use the Booboo-B-Gone with the invisible ink "And Then the Universe Implodes"
Go to the 2nd-floor-right room
- Pickup the videotape
- Push the right hand speaker
- Use the stereo
- Achievement: Leave the stereo on for the rest of the game "Music Appreciation Award"
Go down to the foyer
- Pickup the fake-barf
- Achievement: "Rap Sheet: Thief"
Go to the third floor right room
- Pickup the hamster
- Achievement: Try to send the hamster through the chrono-john "That Only Works With Alligators"
Go to the 2nd floor hall
- Put the hamster into the ice machine, and close the lid
Go to the main hall and climb the chimney
- Achievement Progress: 1/3 Climb the chimney
- Pickup the crank

As Hoagie

Go into the main hall
- Use the flier with the suggestion box
Go into the pantry
- Pickup the oil and spaghetti
Go into the laundry
- Open the cabinet and pickup the brush
- Pickup the bucket
Go back into the pantry
- Fill the bucket with water at the water pump
Go to 2nd-floor-left room
- Use the bed, and then pull the cord
Go to the 2nd floor hall
- Pickup the soap from the maid cart
- Use the soap with the water bucket, making soapy water
Go to 2nd-floor-right room
- Pickup the wine bottle
Go to the main hall
- Use the wine bottle with the time capsule

As Bernard

Send the textbook to Hoagie

As Hoagie

Go to the third floor
- Use the textbook on the horse
- Pickup the horse's teeth from the glass
Go into the left room
- Use the left-handed-hammer with the right-handed-hammer
Go to the attic
- Pickup the red paint
- Use Ned's bed
- Use squeaky mattress with Jed's bed
- Use the squeaky mattress
- Pickup the squeaky-toy
Go out to the outhouses
- Achievement: Send red paint to Bernard and mix red paint with Booboo-B-Gone "Missing Pink"
- Use the red paint on the Kumquat tree
- Achievement: "Only Hoagie Can Make a Tree"
Go into the main hall
- Talk to George Washington
  1. Whoa you're like George Washington
  2. Whoa
  3. Is it true about you and the Cherry tree
  4. I bet you've lost it.
- Achievement: "Only George Can Destroy a Tree"

Bring Laverne Back

As Laverne

In the kennel
- Talk to the guard
  1. Oooh... I don't feel so good...
Inside doctors office
- Pickup the tentacle chart
Return to the kennel
- Talk to the guard
  1. I have to go to the bathroom
Outside, go to the chrono-john
- Send the chart to Hoagie.

As Bernard

Send the crank to Laverne
Send the Booboo-B-Gone to Laverne

As Hoagie

Send the squeaky mouse toy to Laverne
Send the can-opener to Laverne
Send the spaghetti to Laverne
Send the red paint to Bernard

Go to the 2nd-floor-middle room
- Use the chart with the patterns
- Achievement: "Windsock it to Me"

As Laverne

Return to the kennel
- Talk to the guard
  1. I don't feel so good
Go into the main hall, and climb the chimney to climb to the roof
- Achievement Progress: 2/3 Climb the chimney
- Use the crank handle with crank box, and then pull it
- Pickup the flag, and then use it
- Achievement: "Costume Quest"
Go down the chimney, and upstairs, to the 2nd-floor-hallway
- Open the icebox, and look at it
- Pickup the frozen-hamster
Go outside, to where the black cat is playing
- Use the Booboo-B-Gone on the fence
- Achievement: "Oh Right, I'm Playing a Cartoon!"
- Use the squeaky mouse toy with the cat
Go into the kitchen
- Use the frozen hamster in the microwave
- Achievement: "Don't Try This at Home"
- Achievement: Use the hamster with the microwave again "Now You're Pushing It"
Go into the main hall
- Talk to the blue tentacle (Receive name-tag)
Go upstairs, to the 2nd-floor-left room
- Use the can-opener on the time capsule
- Pickup the vinegar
- Achievement: "Chateau Eau Neaux"
- Achievement: "Rap Sheet: Kleptomaniac"
Go to the 2nd-floor-middle room
- Pickup the extension cord
- Pickup the roller skates
- Use the roller-skates with the mummy
- Push the mummy
Go out to the lobby
- Use the name-tag with the mummy
- Achievement: "It's an Honor Just to Compete"
Go to the chrono-john
- Use the extension cord with the plug
- Use the extension cord with the window
- Send the scalpel to Bernard
- Send the vinegar to Hoagie

As Bernard

Go to the main hall
- Use the scalpel with the clown
- Achievement: "Rap Sheet: Vandal"
- Pickup the box'o-laughs
- Send the box'o-laughs to Laverne
- Send the fork to Laverne

As Hoagie

Send the dentures to Laverne

As Laverne

Achievement: Use the fork with the cat "ESRB Violation"

Go to the third floor
- Use the wet soggy noodles on the mummy's head
- Use the fork on the mummy's head
- Use the box'o-laughs with the mummy's head
- Achievement: As Bernard send the chattering teeth to Laverne and put them on the mummy "Can't Win and Chew Gum at the Same Time"
- Use the dentures with the mummy's head

As Bernard

Go to the 3rd-floor left room
- Push Edna
- Use videotape with VCR then use the VCR
- Push record
- Push rewind
- Change to EP
- Push play
- Push eject
- Achievement: Go to attic and talk to the IRS agents *Are you guys brothers? "We're All Brothers"
Go downstairs to the office
- Open the safe
- Achievement: "Rap Sheet: Yegg"
- Pickup contract
Go to main hall
- Climb the chimney
Go through the right window
- Pull the rope
Go onto the roof
- Use rope with pulley
Go down chimney, and go outside
- Achievement: 3/3 Talk to Dead Uncle Ted "Are You My Mummy?"
- Use the red paint with Ted
- Use the rope with Ted
Go to the roof via the chimney
- Pull rope
Go to the roof via the chimney, and go inside through the window
- Use Ted with Fred
- Use rope with Fred
Go back to roof
- Pull rope
You are now in Freds' Lab
- Use funnel with Fred
- Use regular coffee with funnel
- Achievement: "Coffee Achiever"

As Hoagie

Go out to the carriage
- Use soapy water with the carriage
- Achievement: "Obvious, Really..."
Go to the mailbox, and open it
- Pickup the letter
- Send the letter to Bernard

As Bernard

Go to 2nd-floor-middle room
- Give the letter to Dwayne
- Pickup the flag-gun
Go to 2nd-floor-left room
- Close the door
- Pickup the keys
Go outside, and into the parking lot
- Give the masked man the keys (You receive a crowbar)
- Achievement: As Hoagie send the brush to Bernard and try to clean the car "You Call That a Hint?"
Go to the lobby
- Use the crowbar on the gum
- Use the gum
Go to 2nd-floor-left room
- Use both the dimes in the coin slot
- Pickup the sweater
Go to the 2nd-floor hallway
- Use the crowbar on the candy vending machine
- Pickup the quarters
Go to the laundry
- Put the sweater into the dryer
- Use the quarters with the dryer
- Send the fake barf to Laverne

As Laverne

Go to the laundry, open the dryer
- Pickup the sweater
- Achievement: "Of Course It Would Still Weigh the Same"
- Use the sweater with the hamster
Go back to the human competition on the 3rd floor
- Use the barf with Harold
- Achievement: "Rap Sheet: Cheat"
- Talk to the judges
  1. Best hair
  2. Best smile
  3. Best laugh
- Achievement: "It's an Honor Just to Compete But Winning Is Better"
Go to the kennel
- Give the dinner certificate to the guard tentacle
- Push switch
- Use cat
Go through the clock to the lab
- Use the extension cord with the outlet
- Use the hamster with the generator
- Use the shopvac with the mouse hole
- Achievement: "You Suck"
- Open hatch
- Pickup dust ball
- Use the hamster with the generator
- Achievement: "Number Two"

Bring Hoagie Back and Beat the Tentacle

As Bernard

Go to the main hall
- Use the flag gun with the cigar-lighter gun
- Talk to the salesman
  1. Nice Cigars
  2. Sure
- Achievement: "Novelty Enthusiast"
- Send the cigar to Hoagie
- Send the cigar lighter to Hoagie
- Send the chattering teeth to Hoagie

As Hoagie

Go to the main hall
- Achievement: 3/3 Climb the chimney "WWSCD?"
- Give Washington the cigar
- Give the chattering teeth to Washington
- Pickup the blanket
Go to the roof
- Use the blanket on the chimney
- Achievement: Go to the outhouse and talk to any of the three "Alas, Our Lazy Speechwriters Didn't Cover This"
Go back to the main hall
- Pickup the quill pen
- Achievement: As Bernard send the contract to Hoagie, use quill with contract "Rap Sheet: Forger"
- Achievement: As Laverne send the Booboo-B-Gone to Hoagie, use quill with contract "Rap Sheet: Fraud"
Go to the lab
- Give the oil, vinegar, and quill pen to Red Edison
- Achievement: "Behind Every Great Man Is a Quality Roadie"
- Pickup the battery
Go to Franklin's room (2nd floor right)
- Give lab-coat to Franklin
- Use battery with the pocket on the kite
- Push kite
- Pickup battery
Go to the chrono-john
- Achievement: Use the battery with the chrono-john "That Should Have Worked"
- Use the battery with the plug
- Achievement: "Number One"

As Bernard

Go to the lab
- Give the contract to Dr Fred
- Talk to Fred
  1. Oh, forget it
  2. I guess I can't
- Achievement: "Dialog Puzzles Are Hard"
Go to 3rd-floor-right room
- Achievement: As Hoagie send the Workbook to Bernard, use the workbook on the stampbook "I'm Sure He'd Never Notice"
- Use the dissapearing ink on the stamp album
- Pickup stamp
- Achievement: Pick up stamp book and give it to Ed "Olive Branch"
- Achievement: Use the computer to play Maniac Mansion "Games History Major"
- Achievement: You must microwave the hamster in Maniac Mansion "Chef"
  - Pick Syd and Razor
  - Pull doormat and pick up key
  - Use key on door and go in
  - Go through first door, walk right. get captured
  - Switch to second kid
  - Go into kitchen, right through to the pantry
  - Pick up fruit juice, go back into main hall
  - Go upstairs and into the room on the left
  - Pickup wax fruit
  - Go through blue door and upstairs
  - Give wax fruit and fruit juice to tentacle
  - Go upstairs, go into the forth door
  - Switch to a new kid and ring the door bell
  - Switch kid to second kid, enter third door, pickup hamster
  - Go back to the kitchen
  - Open the microwave door
  - Use hamster on microwave
  - Close the door, and turn on the microwave
- Use stamp with the signed contract
- Send contract to Hoagie

As Hoagie

Put contract into mailbox

As Bernard

Go to the office
- Use the phone
- Achievement: "Flush"

As LaBerHo

Go to 2nd-floor hallway, open the middle door
- Let old-purple shrink you
Run into the middle room, and through the mousehole
- Pickup the bowling ball
- Achievement: "Rap Sheet: Adventure Gamer"
Go down to the lab in the cellar
- Use the bowling ball on the tentacles
- Talk to purple tentacle
  1. What do you have against humans
  2. Dr. Freds fault
  3. You're pretty handy
  4. Why don't you zap Dr. Fred
- Achievement: "Yesterday's News"

Achievement: Watch the credits "...Take on the Words!"

You dont have to leave the Stereo running for the entire game you can still git the achievement as long as you turn it on before you buy the Diamond in order to bring your friends home at the end of the game.

Great guide! Got all the achievements in one go...except Master Plumber because I forgot to take your note on flushing all the items with the quick flush feature, which was my fault. But reloaded a save and did it so no big deal. Thanks again you saved me a bunch of time!

Minor mistake:
Achievement: As Laverne send the Booboo-B-Gone to Hoagie, use quill with contract "Rap Sheet: Fraud"
This should say "use Booboo-B-Gone with contract" to get the Fraud achievement.
