Good point. I was going to say it might be from after he lost the ring, because he didn't leave immediately, but then he wouldn't have the ring on his finger... Anyway, cool pic regardless.

Not quite, the goblins diddn't know what Gollum looks like, he would always have the ring on when he hunted for some goblins. Its probably a picture Gollum drew of himself. It looks like its him with the ring controlling the Goblins.
