Intro
This is merely a collection of relevant information that I've gathered from playing Rime Berta for far longer than I care to admit. Completing the achievement list is an absurd chore, but hopefully I can set you on the right path and prevent you from committing the same mistakes I did.
General Tips & Tricks
Pay Attention to Reactions

You can see if any enemy has a Reaction ready by hovering over them and reading the character box. Always keep that in mind, the last thing you want is to send your Witch in to deal a killing blow and have someone Shock you into uselessness.

Ranged > Melee

In most SRPGs, ranged characters are usually very squishy and have inferior damage, to compensate for their range advantage. Well, not here. Mages deal absurd damage at decent range (and damn near never run out of skill uses) and archers deal almost equal damage at crazy ranges - seriously, a Gunner with Long Range lv7 can hit pretty much everything that isn't too high, too low or behind a wall. Sure, mages have low HP and some melees get very strong (Dragon Knight is quite absurd too), but due to the way the AI works - in that it doesn't - as long as you have anyone between the mages and the enemies, they'll be clear outta harm's way.

The Guides are Trash

Honestly. All of the disadvantages of melee, with a very slow skill curve and the few decent skills require hours and hours of grind that would be put to better use with literally anything else.

"Pixie, get the buffs!"

Not quite as obligatory as in Nocturne, but buffs really turn the tides in this. A tier 3 archer with Raise Attack can pick off everyone at a safe range, Meditation can make a tank tankier, and Passion lets your team deal a ridiculous ton of damage as long as you keep them out of harm's way. It actually ties directly into the best strategy for the final level; you want to, hopefully, kill a bunch of people on your second turn so you don't get overwhelmed by the third, and buffs on the first turn may be the final push you need.
Completionist Advice
If you're going to spring for the Completionist achievement (a.k.a getting all of the others), you're going to need to grind a LOT to master all of the classes. I strongly suggest you keep a few key puppets along the way, such as one for each class you need to master and/or ones that are on the path of classes you haven't mastered yet, to minimize later grinding.

WARNING - BROKEN ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

The Sage class can be accessed through either the Priestess or the Sorceress classes, but for some godforsaken reason the Recovery skill is necessary to unlock the last Sage skill, which means the class can't be mastered if you leveled it through the Sorceress class. Pay attention to that, lest you waste several hours of grind like I did. The Shotgunner class is also accessible through two but it doesn't have any locked skills like that.

Tips for Efficient Grinding

If you're grinding for EXP, the best course of action is to get your lower-leveled units to target your highest level, as you get EXP relative to the level difference regardless of whether you hit or not. However, for SP grinding, you want to use units with small level differences, as you need to actually hit the attack to get maximum SP for it (missing or attacking nothing gives you about half SP). Best place for both of those is the 1-1 level, as there are only 3 enemies and the Warrior won't move at all until you get close, so you won't be distracted by the enemies.
Leveling LUK Up ASAP is recommended, as you get the SP Up skill when you reach LUK Up lv4, which drastically speeds up the grind.
Don't forget to bring at least one healer to the fray, too, and leave and reenter the level when one of your units runs out of uses for all relevant moves.

If you have anything to add, put it below and I'll check it out. Thanks for reading!

PS2... no wonder I couldn't figure out the reference, I was searching steam. And I had Persona 1 and 2 on psx but never really got into them.

Kaas Chuig oh, it's Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne, a PS2 game, completely unrelated to Rime Berta!

You mention Nocturne... that another game by the devs, or some later-game term I'll learn about later (still only just starting)

I'm glad I noticed this. Was building up the Guides.

Should add fastest way to level for rangers is to use heal which gives 11 exp, regardless of if it actually heals and gives levels to said skill.
