The new players guide to friendlies in tf2.
Tf2 is mainly a game consisting of one thing: killing. However, there are those who are peaceful creatures at heart and that’s where I come in. From my experience I can tell you the types of rare creatures in pubs (public severs) alike that are only concerned with peace. So let’s get straight to it!
Identifying a friendly.
First of all, you need to identify a friendly player. But how do I do this you may be asking. There are many common characteristics that a friendly player will hold. There tend to be:
. Doesn’t attack you (unless you @&%# them off)
. Wear friendly looking cosmetics and equips friendly looking weapons (e.g the holiday punch)
. Crouches while using a melee weapon or consumable (consumable apply to the heavy)
. Throws the consumable item on the floor for you to eat (e.g sandwich)
. Uses voice commands such as “thanks” or “put a dispenser here”
. Remember not all friendlies as heavies

Now let’s go onto the types of friendly players you’ll see.
Chapter 1: The Hoovy
Status: Very common
Scientific name: unknown
These magnificent creatures are the most common type of friendly you will set your eyes on. They are heavies who have converted to a peaceful way instead of fighting. Usually these creatures use the sandwich but have been known to use: The Robo-Sandvich, the Dalokohs Bar, the Fishcake or the Buffalo steak. These creatures are an excellent help as the secondary weapons they use normally restore player health.
Chapter 2: The spycrab
Status: Critically endangered
Scientific name: Espionagus Crustaceous
These elusive animals were once a common site on severs but have since dwindled in population and are near extinction. This is because they were usually mistaken for their violent cousin the false spycrab who took advantage of the spyscrabs friendly nature and tricked his enemy. Apron encountering this rare creature do not shoot as you may startle them. Instead guide them to safety and make sure they live peacefully.
Chapter 3: The Democrab
Status: near extinction
Scientific name: Diadilosi Crustaceous
A close relative of the spycrab the democrab shares 46% of its DNA with that of the spycrab. The democrab strafes side to side using a melee weapon to try to try to give the appearance of a crab. These animals should be treat with extreme care and guided to safety.
Chapter 4: Humping Snipers
Status: rare
Scientific name: kampouraing skopeftis eleftheros
These snipers use an animation glitch which gives the appearance that they are “humping” the air. These more erotic creatures are found on maps such as ctf_2fort and are even seen in the mist of battle. There only goal is to “Hump” there aussie junk in the air.
Chapter 5: box trot spy/hermit spycrab
Status: uncommon
Scientific name: Espionagus Otaconus
Another relative to the spycrab these creatures where born from the gun mettle update and have since become a successful breed compared to the spycrab. They live peacefully under their boxy shells (the taunt the box trot) and gather in corners to survive. This specious is often ignored as they sit motionless in corners and, upon being noticed, they flee for safety.
Chapter 6: Taunting players
Status: extremely common
Scientific name: chlevasmosing paichtis
These creatures are extremely common and usually use 2 player taunts such as the square dance or high five. They also use multiple player taunts like the conga and are great people to have a laugh with.
Chapter 7: worthy mentions
Here are some other friendlies which are more uncommon than the others.
Rocket jumping soldiers/demos - usually just want to explore the map and if so should be left to it.
Conscientious objector friendlies - usually carries the conscientious objector with peaceful signs on it.
peeing snipers (this one’s a joke by the way ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ) – These creatures should not be disturbed as all they want to do is there business.
Fin
I hope you found this guide useful and i not i don't care ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). But still i hope you now no the difference between an enemy and a friendly player. Thank you for reading and goodbye.
