@Slovenius
Have you played Total War a lot? The AI has enormous bonuses to it's economy. At all difficulties. So this mod is actually just letting you even the playing field, if you know how to make money, of course. The AI is going to be economically better than you even if they own 1 settlement, otherwise they wouldn't be able to constantly spam units comparable to the player. It's the only way the devs could create a slightly challenging AI, if the AI couldn't cheat, the game wouldn't be much war, more like, total capture settlement.

@Slovenius so what you're saying is....this is historically accurate

I'm not a fan and I need to give thumb down. Only one good deal and we can make 8k per turn. Realize that big countries with many neighbours can boost their budget to the enourmous profit, otherwise countries with lower amount of profitable neighbours can starve with money. AI produce lot of soldier, because they can, and crash you in first 40 years if you're smaller ruller.

Hello, I had a save game before I installed this, and in that save game the mod actually made trade value go down. It was around 411 before and around 350 after. It is at the top of my load order. Any idea what's going on?
