SSI Grasshopper MKIx Light Hovercycle

the SSI Grasshopper is an experimental Hovercycle designed for mineral prospecting and light recon duties. It was designed outside the bounds of the usual SSI "safety first" guidelines, which allows for its primary design goal to be achieved, cheap and quick to build and repair.

Outfitted with mineral scanning equipment, a compass, and a telescopic camera, the Grasshopper makes doing pathfinding and surveying a dream. It is also outfitted with a single forward facing gatling gun to serve as a deterrent if push comes to shove.
