Atlas-class Light Frigate Mk.2

The Atlas-class frigate is a light, versatile and very customizable multipurpose ship with seating and Cryo Chambers for a crew of 3.
It is able to fit many roles with short preparations.

Planetary Intervention Frigate
This is the standard layout for this ship. 6 large turbines allow it to enter and leave a planets atmosphere and provide fire support for ground forces.

Armed Support Frigate
When planetary landings are not on the flight plan, the turbines can be deinstalled and replaced with cargo containers (all conveyored, no further modifications needed) to get a fast armed transport. Or you install more H2 tanks to get the most out of your thrusters.

Heavy Torpedo Frigate
When in space there is no real limitation for the deadweight, so just install more heavy armor on the front engine pods and use a torpedo launch system and rocket launchers (torpedoes not included!)
