the similarity to Hearthstone is only aesthetic. I don't really like Hearthstone for those same reasons. The addition of the land hex system makes the game very versatile and tactical, especially you start to get a sense for how different work together. It's really good.

This looks like Hearthstone, maybe with some tactics/board game elements(?) thrown in. I didn't really like Hearthstone. It's not a bad game but it's just too boring/simple for me, more of a dice roller than a card game. I have enjoyed SpellWeaver though, more of a cross between Hearth and MTG.
