Flexibility
Note that this guide is mainly things that you may need to really get used to! Remember, this is designed to give you MY settings! So, take what you want from it! No need to take it all! (unless you want.) Just take this as more inparation for what you should do!

If you have a slow computer, make sure you turn down all of your video settings to "Performance", or atleast find a preferable balance for you! :D
Notes!
If you have problems with screen tearing[en.wikipedia.org], you may dial down your max FPS setting, and even if you need to, turn on VSync.

You may turn off Bloom or any Light effect if it is bothersome.

This is based off of someone using a computer, otherwise, controls aren’t useful for you. If you are using a computer but using a controller, disregard the controls part!

You may balance your UI scale and Safe Zone Ratio to your liking, keeping in mind you want to be able to see the most, while still maintaining easy and quick view of your key UIs (such as your boost meter!)

Change your sound levels to your liking: for example, if you needed to hear someone in voice chat more. And of course, set it to speaker mode if you aren’t using headphones (this optimizes the levels of audio tracks to make certain things more clear.)

Disable cross play disables playing games between platforms: that is up to you!

Mouse sensitivity is up to you, balance your sensitivity to maximize accuracy with your mouse (as little acceleration as you can!)

Lastly (of course), you may want to turn down your settings if you don't have a top notch computer.
And if you prefer to tweak it, cool! Just remember these settings are partly preference (those are obvious), but mainly pure settings to give you an advantage!

And have a nice time playing! ;)

I disagree, I used to play with a large field of view you're right it gives you an advantage you get to see more. But then i changed for it to be closer and it made me better, I can hit my shots more accurate and overall better, you might loose more view but you gain more accuracy.

A bigger field of view. It's hard to get used to but in the end it gives you an edge.-
