Turok Walkthrough - A Video Guide (Treasure Hunter Achievement Included)

This walkthrough is meant to help people beat the game while also unlocking the "Treasure Hunter" achievement.
I have also made a video dedicated to finding all secret areas needed for the "Treasure Hunter Achievement", check it out if you're missing secret areas.

General Tips
  • Cycle between your weapons, don't rely on a single weapon to do everything
  • When you face Pulse Rifle enemies, dance around (strafe left and right) while shooting
  • Pick up all the Tek Armor you can, past level six, enemies will tear you to pieces on Hard and Hardcore
  • If you're still afraid of jumps, use the map and guide yourself with it while jumping
  • Pulse Rifle is the best energy weapon in the game, don't bother with the Alien Gun or the Shockwave Cannon
  • Enemies DO NOT drop items on Hard and Hardcore
  • Knife enemies while circling around them, they turn really slow
  • Do not play this like Call of Duty
Level I: The Hub
Two secret locations to find, pretty easy to find.

Level II: The Jungle
Five secrets to find, kinda easy to miss the first one if you're a new player to the series.

Level III: The Ancient City
Three locations to find here, you'll need nerves of steel and lots of patience to make the jumps at the end of this level.

Level IV: The Ruins
Five secrets to find, all of these locations are hidden behind fake walls.

Level V: The Catacombs
Six secret locations here, a skull will point towards a secret location hidden behind a fake wall.

Level VI: The Treetop Village
Only two secret locations to find here, other than that, this level is pretty straightforward.

Level VII: The Lost Land
Again, another two secret locations to find here, located almost next to each other.

There's also an additional Chronoscepter piece near the end of this level, picking it up doesn't grant you the Chronoscepter though.

Level VIII: The Final Confrontation
At last we are here, the final level.

The final five locations are pretty easy to find, but people blazing in through the level might miss some of them.

I recall this being slightly harder on the N64, but then again it could be my mind playing tricks.
