Canon-wise, All Terrain (AT) models could walk in any terrain that can be traversed (AT-TEs have even scaled mountains and attched to ships and asteroids in space), so snow/sand/forest/grass, it would operate the same.

Includes:
AT-ST
AT-AT
AT-AP
AT-TE
AT-XT
etc.

As you can see, AT starts all the models, but the last two letters vary, and signify it's general purpose.
