Can confirm. The methods listed here miss some of the better leveling methods I've seen. Like you can kill the first two bosses in bitterblack isle at level 10 using throwblasts. This gives a ton of XP. From there as an assassin you can start farming death with explosive arrows staggering him over the pit in the bloodless stockade.
With all this together, you can start the game at any level you want for strength with only a modest investment of time.
If you spec hard into Sorceror or have some way to make stupid amounts of gold then you could probably DOUBLE your level with one "battle" against a enemy who can't fight back.
certainly good to know that the death farming things are mainly fixed aside from what you wrote. I was wondering what I was doing wrong XD thank you for the guide !
Don't pick up any drops, just turn around and leave then re-enter straight away. You can even position yourself by the door as soon as the spell is cast ready to zone. If anything other than Eliminators spawn leave and re-enter. You can try your luck against the group of Living Armor as well but I find killing them takes a lot of time and is slower.
I tested this method to be faster than Daimon runs, but slower than Death farm though you absolutely need to be yellow class for that.
