"GMod still running" steam error fix

Are you tired of that pesky little steam error where it thinks GMod is still running while it isn't This is a fix for that issue! Although still annoying, it beats restarting your system!

Okay, so this is the simple version of this fix.

  • Go into your task manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc on Windows [Or you can do the Ctrl + Alt + Del -> Task Manager way, if your heart desires])
  • Go into your details tab
  • Find hl2.exe
  • End the process

Don't see hl2.exe listed? Go to fix two!
Fix Two
So, you went into details on your task manager and it wasn't listed, huh?

Then do this:

  • Steam Folder
  • steamapps
  • common
  • Garrysmod
  • Run hl2.exe
  • Follow fix one

And it's fixed :D

The fan makes a nice blender, and since your'e now in the hospital eating baby food just eat that as baby food :D <3
