Introduction
Consider you are a pig, and there's a lot of wolves coming on your direction to eat your meat and rip you apart with butcher knives in their hands. What would YOU do?

1. Run
2. Dance
3. Fight

If you chose option 3, you guessed it right, so get your filthy bacon in guard and get ready to punch some wolves and give a taste of their own medicine!

In this guide i'll teach you about:

  • 1- Damage and health;
  • 2- Enemy types and their specific drops;
  • 3- The best ways to deal with them.
  • 4- Some extra information in the end of the guide.

So get ready!

Player's Health and Damage
Health Bar

Your HEALTH is a important feature to worry about, since you CANNOT (yet) replenish it in mid-game, so you got to be extremely careful about taking damage early if you want to have a good score.

As you can see, you have 10 HP that are actually bacons xD, and my advice would be trying to NOT taking damage until reaching 50 points, otherwise just reset until you can do it. May require some practice at first but, this game is really easy to learn in time.

But none of these applies to the 1HP challenge, it's hit-kill instantly, so be really careful.

The enemies also have a different ammount of health, which i'm going to show on the next section.

Damage

The damage YOU deal is also a important feature, as you can describe mid-fight how much long does take to a wolf to die, so you can take care of him easily and target the others. I'll talk about the enemies' HP on the next section, and on this one, i'm going to tell the ways you can damage them and how much they deal.

1. Barehanded: The damage you deal with a normal blow is 1.
2. Throwing: All the objects which can be thrown deal 2 damage.
3. Melee weapon: A melee weapon deals 5 damage, pierces multiple enemies, but only lasts for one hit.

Enemies - The Forest
In this section you are going to know a little better the information of the forest enemies, and the best way to deal with them.

Normal Wolf

Health: 5
Drops: Butcher Knife (Throwable)
Behaviour: Runs at you with one Butcher Knife, and deals damage overtime if kept too long.
Hints: There's no secret, just beat them up until they get killed, count the hits you deal to them and try to grab his knife to throw at other enemies.

Thrower Wolf

Health: 5
Drops: Butcher Knife x2
Behaviour: He walks slowly than the others, throw his first knife at you, and acts like a normal wolf, running at you with his other knife.
Hints: You can dodge his knife by jumping (twice for more safety), but the best way to dodge is crouching, since you can grab the knife if it gets past towards you, and throw back to him or to another enemy.

Grandma Wolf

Health: 4
Drops: Grandma's Hat, Grandma's Basket (both throwable)
Behaviour: Same as the normal wolf, but slower.
Hints: He's slower than the normal wolf, and weaker. 2 weapons throwns should be enough to kill him, but you may prefer killing him closer to you, since you can grab his drops to throw at another enemies.

Lumberjack Wolf

Health: 6
Drops: Axe (melee)
Behaviour: He has the same behaviour than the Grandma Wolf, but is way more tough and stronger, since you have to kill him with 2 melee weapon strikes.
Hints: 3 throwns, just a normal wolf, would completely do the job, so my advice would be throwing any kinds of weapons at him, and finish the job when he gets closer, so you can grab his Axe. Just be aware after 3 hits the Axe will break and turn into 2 pieces, which can be thrown.

Chainsaw Wolf

Health: 3
Drops: Construction Helmet (throwable), Chainsaw (melee)
Behaviour: He pops at one of the edges, stop to prepare his chainsaw, and then runs towards you without stopping to attack. If you dodge him, he'll come back on the other side and do the same.
Hints: If he gets close to you, jump and just when you almost touch the ground, jump again, he'll stop with the attack, and with that time you can double hit him to kill, and grab his Chainsaw. Just be aware after 3 hits the Chainsaw will break and turn into 2 pieces, which can be thrown.

Pogostick-Knife Wolf

Health: 5
Drops: Pogostick-Knife (melee)
Behaviour: He just jumps towards you with the pogostick, and when hit, he falls off and act like a normal wolf.
Hints: You can sometimes dodge his attack by crouching, but the best way to deal with him is to simple strike/throw at him and beat him like a normal wolf. Just try to do it close, so you can grab his Pogostick-Knife. Just be aware after 3 hits the Pogostick-Knife will break and turn into 2 pieces, which can be thrown just like the Chainsaw.

Rocket Wolf

Health: 1
Drops: None
Behaviour: He appears at any direction and flies to the other one. After 2 flights he goes next to the ground, in your direction.
Hints: Weak but dangerous, you can wait until he gets to the phase which he is turned towards you, so you can quickly double jump to hit and kill him. You can also hit him while he is on the top of the rocket, by double jumping and hitting the back part of the rocket, but be careful to not hit the rocket head-on. Also, you can throw another wolf into his rocket, which will kill both. If he's on the ground, try to do the same as the chainsaw wolf, or just throw something. Don't worry about the rocket, if the wolf is dead, the rocket can't hit you in its explosion.

Baby Wolf

 Health: 2
Damage: 0
Drops: None
Behaviour: He jumps towards you and if he gets you, he'll be stuck into you but deal no damage, so you can simply throw him away and finish the job.
Hints: There's no hint, he deals no damage (for now at least), so don't worry about him, just focus the other wolfs.
Enemies - The City
In this section you are going to know a little better the information of the city enemies, and the best way to deal with them.

Cop Wolf and Gentleman Wolf

Health: 6
Drops: Police Cap/Topper (ranged), and the Baton/Walking Cane (melee), respectively.
Details: They have the same behaviour of a lumberjack apparently, but they can drop their respective caps and weapons.

Shielded Cop Wolf

Health: 6 (+4 hits absorbed from the shield)
Drops: Police Cap (ranged) and the Baton (melee)
Behaviour: He has the same drops and behaviour of a normal Cop Wolf, but he holds a shield. The shield has an interesting mechanic, it can absorb 4 direct hits no matter what damage.
Hints: If you do a uppercut (crouch and press left/right), you take off his shield, leaving him vulnerable like a normal Cop Wolf.

Soccer Wolf and Poke-Wolf

Health: 1
Drops: No drops on death, but their projectiles are catchable.
Behaviour: They are the city counterpart to the Thrower Wolf on the Forest, but they have a slightly different behaviour, because after they throw their first projectile, they run off the screen and throw again, forcing you to use ranged attacks to kill them. But they have low health, dying in only one ranged strike.

Grandma Wolf and Lady Wolf

Health: 4/3, respectively.
Drops: Grandma's Cap/Lady's Wig (ranged) and the Grandma's Basket/Lady's Purse (ranged).
Behaviour: The grandma wolf is on this map as well, and the lady wolf shares the same behaviour as the grandma does, except the grandma is tougher.

Skateboard Wolf

Details: He is the city counterpart to the Chainsaw Wolf, but acts a bit differently. If you take him off the skateboard, the skateboard is gonna continue rolling through the environment, and if you hit it while it's on the ground, the skate goes upwards, and you can grab it and use as a weapon.

Wrecking Ball Wolf

Details: He is the city counterpart to the Rocket Wolf, but doesn't die in one hit. If you take him out of the wrecking ball, he falls to the ground and goes after you with a hammer, which can be taken and used as a weapon. He is an obvious reference to Miley Cyrus, and the music "Wrecking Ball".

Lumberjack Wolf

Health: 6
Drops: Axe (melee)
Behaviour: The lumberjack wolf is also on the new map, completing the new enemies' list.
Extras and Conclusion
Extras:

  • You can use the branch in the superior edge on the left to kill a wolf instantly, which unlocks an achievement.
  • On the city map, the insta-kill branch is replaced by a light post on the right and on the left, and unlike the branch, you can use the light post multiple times.
  • Sometimes a wolf will drop a head on his death, which can also be thrown for the default throw damage.
  • If you throw a Grandma's Basket on a enemy, it'll stuck on his head like a hat, which unlocks an achievement.
  • Throwing the wolf up, and then kicking him to the right/left will guarantee his drop.
  • If you throw a object on a wolf, and manage to hit it, there's a chance the object you throwed at him can be taken again.
  • I just passed some minutes alone with a baby wolf (if you don't kill the last enemy, the others will not come) and yes, he deals no damage, he just wants affection. :3
  • You can block the thrower's knifes by using the Baby Wolf as shield.
  • If you strike a melee weapon with a melee weapon, it will throw it, and the thrown weapon will deal 5 damage instead of 2.
  • On panic, spam the buttons as fast as you can.
  • Unfortunately, the Baby Wolf didn't get a counterpart or was present on the city map.

Finishing

So, that's the end of the guide (for now at least). Before saying anything, it's my first guide, and it's made to help new players who want to know better their enemies. Hope it helped. ;)

If the knife comes from the right, and it gets past you, it's gonna go to the left, just press the left button and you should grab it, same drill with the knife coming from the left.
