Welcome, this is a Tutorial on how to download and install the PAYDAY 2 Overkill approved Modification - Hox Hud.

To make it look from the base game

With Hox Hud Mod:


The Hox Hud changes and adds new features to your Heads up Display, Like during heist kill counter and head shot count, Time remaining on Objectives like Drills and Doors, Player Downed Count and many more features, as seen above.

Downloading

To download the Mod I suggest visiting the Hox Hud Steam Group, which I’ll leave the Link in the description below this video. Once we are here you can find out which is the latest version and information on what has been updated.

The Download Website will be found under Discussions Tab and the the Sub forums threads will be the link HoxHud Downloads.

You’ll find the latest link in which this case is P9.1.10 so we’ll click on that. There will be basic instructions on how install the Mod, for this tutorial I will demonstrate how to install the HoxHud Automatic Self-installer.

Click on what mirror you’d prefer, for this example I will use GitHub, which will automatically download or if on MEGA, click the download button, be caution that you are clicking on the legitimate link, some may be adware, virus links etc.

Once your file has been downloaded, double click on the exe file then select the directory of the file which is under your steam file so once you find it, which is:

Usually C: Drive > (Programs) > Steam > SteamApps > Common > PAYDAY 2.
(or where you steam files are located)

Extract the file to that PAYDAY 2 folder itself then HoxHud will be ready to go.

Once you’ve started your game up, it will display some sort of introduction to Hox hud.

When in the main menu the perks from the mod will be the Fast.net which is a quick search to find compaitble matches.

Build Profiler which is to make multiple skill trees without loss of money from respecting a tree (This feature is already in the game but has more Sets to create. Last is the Hox Hud Credits page with as said, is credits to the creators of this mod.

When you're in a Heist a Job overview menu, another benefit is you can buy assets in one purchase.

So it's simple as that to benefit from this Modification that making playing payday easier and more enjoyable.
