I was mainly interested on advice for people like me, that have never played DOS before.
From what I put together we should strive to get some stats high but not too high as there are objects that give us bonuses... Considering I don't know what happens when, I would find very useful a simpler breakdown of:
"For that knight I suggest you take as a Companion, by level 5 have her with stats more or less like: XXX and you should equip her with the sword of A. Before you go to the Forest, try to have stats YYY. "
etc.
I apologize if that is somewhere in the guide and I missed it.

Coming from a noob, some constructive criticism, mostly about the linked guide in text (I prefer text to videos):
This guide is addressed to people that know what they are about.
While I am sure this guide would be very useful for people that have invested time in the game, it is not easy to follow for beginners that don't even have a vague idea what stats they should shoot for.
