Huh , I think he's right . The Kar 98 k was officially made in 1934 , but during WW1 , german soldiers modified Kar 98 family so much that the first "kar 98 k" was used in 1915-1916 . Even though it wasn't called "Kar 98 k" , I'm pretty sure it was almost the same .

Your little friend is talking shit on my Kar98k's description, he claims it was used during WWI, which it wasn't and he's not being very nice about it.

No, I'm sure not everyone realizes that a "survival weapon" is mostly used against wild animals. This is basic knowledge to anyone who knows anything about firearms though, which is my target audience. I leave out things which are obvious, like how you don't put in the description of a shotgun that it uses shotshells.
