Settle your city inside this ancient volcanic crater, located in the tropics! Starting tile provides running water, and all connections are available. Resources are easy to come by, and you have enough space to build a quite large city on. Enjoy!

@Realname, can you be more specific? I can't see that there's anything in common with these maps other than the thematic, and he didn't come up with those. Flux and I have used very different tecniques when creating these two maps, and there are plenty of differences, once you look past the tropical island theme.

Glad you like it tho', hope you check out my other maps. I've got one more out at the moment, working on a couple more. I will probably upload one or both during the weekend, after some more play testing! ^^

Everybody is making those Rhinestone Island maps. Its very cool and i like it but cant u say that u get your inspiration from Fluxtrance? I think you should, he deserve it.

A beautifully crafted map, I have to say. I also really like the massive oil and ore basins beneath the mountains and the tree-covered islands (great for forestry); all of them make great setpieces for you to build your city in. I can't wait to see what mine will look like once it's finished.
