September 1, 1939

A version of Axis and Allies 1940 Global, set on September 1939 when World War 2 broke out in Europe.

This game features:
- an alternate starting setup for every nation
- minor nations like Netherlands, Poland, Denmark/ Norway
- additional rules like the Maginot Line, Dunkirk evacuation, Vichy France and the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact
- an edited board
- a new "oil mechanic"

Rules
This version uses almost every Rule of 1940 Global 2nd Edition
Changed or added Rules are written down on notecards in-game (very important for the gameplay!)

Chips:
Grey - 1 unit
Green - 3 units

For the Vichy France optional rule can't France just walk all colonial infantry to UK territories to avoid them becoming Vichy on turn 1 assuming Paris doesn't fall? I feel like maybe there should be a rule that French colonial troops can't move until at war with Italy to balance this out. Just seems like an exploit

Just subscribed, none of the custom items load (figures or board). Any idea how to fix? Error 404 on every attempt

Hey drhippensteel,

How frequently you meet is really up to your group, just like in real life you can play for as long as you want, but you don't have to pack anything up when you're done, you just save it. My group will typically play for >4 hours at a time, but not everyone is able to do that. If you add me I'm sure you can join us some time.

That waould be great, I'd really enjoy playing this. Nobody in my area shows any interest in playing any of these games. Much less one that'll take a long time to play. Do folks meet once or twice a week to do a turn or two?
