On the cross-footing option: IT DOES NOT WORK, however, I am planning on adding an extra hip-join that pushed the leg that is retracted a bit down, in this way, the cross-footing may work, but it will also be a fix directly for the stability (which is fine at the moment, as the artificial-mass is all collected within the feet).
