What do I do First?
You Need to Own the Steam version of King Arthur's Gold in Order to do this
Well you have your Art Software which is either Photoshop or Gimp

Then you need to Get through these files:

Computer < OS (C:) < Program Files (x86) < Steam < SteamApps < common < King Arthur's Gold < Base < Entities < "any sprite you want to modify" File < Right click on the one you want to modify < Do Open with "Photoshop or Gimp"

Doing this, other people will not see your content unless you do more modifications to your Stuff / Files ▬ But personally, I think you will enjoy your New Head / Body / Animation / etc.

GIMP DOWNLOAD: https://search.yahoo.com/yhs/search?hspart=SGMedia&hsimp=yhs-sgm_fb&fr=sgm&type=fbss&p=gimp%20download

PHOTOSHOP DOWNLOAD(?): http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop.html?promoid=1NZGDDSP&mv=other&origref=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.photoshop.com%2Fproducts

However GIMP is Free while Photoshop cost, I would would truly recommend Photoshop but it Cost $20 / a month

here is a video that will show how to do it
I can't Modify anything, What do I do?
That either means that Your Files are Corupted or King Arthur's Gold is Updating.

That means you must go to your Library < Right click on "King Arthur's Gold" < Click on "Properties" < Click on "Local Files" < and then "Verify Integrity of Game Cache".

But if that dosen't Work, Uninstall the game then Reinstall it.

If that dosen't work, then Write it down in the comments below for help to add to the "Q+A" of this Guide.
Q and A

A: KAG updated, you go to: King Arthur's Gold < Mods < Create a Mod Folder; Then copy the Created sprite then put it in the created folder from the mods

^ To extract it to your game, go to this Discussion ^

Q: How do you remove the White Box?

A: For Photoshop: Duplicate the background then When you have the copy, delete the Background, then Whip out the white box with the Magic Eraser Tool. It will be fine but for those extra pixels, use the normal eraser.

For Gimp: The same as "For Photoshop"

Q: Is there a way for other people to see my head?

A: There is a way that I don't really know how to do it but I will tell you the best I can.

1. You can create a mod then exract that mod to your server.
and on this Discussion is how to do it (it is local only though)

or you can buy your own server.

Q: What is the safe way to do it?

A: The Safe way when working: What you should do in Photoshop is that you Should work in Layers not by the layer it is.

The Safe way when saving: You should Save not "Save as" or it Will save it as another document, and Don't flatten the layers, if you did; then press LeftCTRL + Alt + Z.

also, Do the "Rectangler Marquee" Tool and use it around the custom content you made and Copying (copy: LeftCTRL + C / paste: LeftCTRL + V) it to the new art formate.

A: you do: File < New < do the length and width 150 x 150 < and then paste it to the new art < delete the background < Save it as a ".PNG".

I guess that's it how to do it

Q: My sprite is still transparent, what do I do?

A: Is the part you made either Orange or Yellow?

Then that means you need to make it a dark or light orange/yellow.

Here is why, the collision of the head looks like this:

Ya see? The transparent collision is yellow and orange just like if you wear a green shirt in a room with a green screen, the same thing.

Personally, Ǝupǝɹzᴉllɐ747 has done more of the Modifying then he has Creating the Guide so lets give him another round of applause for if he hadn't done that Modifying, this guide would've been dead.

You can create a sprite with any program that places 1px, so yes Paint.net would work. Along with MSPaint

Can you do this with Paint.net?

kk thanks, i guess i thought i had to open GIMP from the file i want to change but if i can just open GIMP then i believe that will work just fine. Thanks again i'll give it a shot.
justirri  [author] 13 Dec, 2016 @ 4:17pm
@ornjlightning You can open it through GIMP itself, like, using the open button or if that doesn't work, go to the the file you want to edit and right click it and open it with that. (Considering that I don't use GIMP, it is hard to tell what the problem feels like)

Oh btw, i do want to make a head but when i do open with it does not give me the option to open GIMP any ideas on how to open it with GIMP? I'm using windows ten if that helps.

Thanks for the help IrriNinja it worked and it is back to normal.
justirri  [author] 13 Dec, 2016 @ 12:39pm
@ornjlightning You probably flattened the layers into one and / or make it a .jpeg (or relatable file), making it not transparent. If you messed up with the white box thing, you should re-adapt the King Arthur's Gold files you have, and here is how to do it ;

That means you must go to your Library < Right click on "King Arthur's Gold" < Click on "Properties" < Click on "Local Files" < and then "Verify Integrity of Game Cache".

But if that dosen't Work, Uninstall the game then Reinstall it.

(IMPORTANT : make sure you have any file related to a KAG file closed during the process)

If all of this doesn't work, feel free to personally contact me through steam.

i have gimp but it won't give the option to open it. And now all the sprites have white boxes.
