How to collect all gems, memories and spells. (Work in progress)
By magicalkits
This guide is for all those players who are having the expected issue of collecting all the hidden collectable secrets in the game. Don't feel bad if you're having trouble finding them yourself. This game likes to give you some freebies and then hide the rest in the house like a fun treasure hunt. After hours of searching though, you find out they're actually IN the actual house... like literally, inside the frickin' walls man. Who even.... who in their sick mind would even do tha- so let's join Himari in her quest to literally save time and find out if her hair is stress related.

*Take note this guide was written during an easy mode playthrough as the damage is more fair and you won't need as many upgrades to get by. Also, this is my first guide ever so please be gentle. Let me know if I made any mistakes or anything. > <

Starting out (Suggested Reading)
There's a ballon in the tutorial you can grab along the way. Neat.

I don't know if this does anything or even mean anything at all. Just grab it like the spell scrolls you'll find along the way that tells you how to use the spell you already know how to use by that point... : s

Town of Zaria

After defeating this strange but curiously attractive tutorial boss

Go all the way to the right of town then talk to a npc called Blind.

Doing so will enable us to get a useful spell right off the bat in Explosion Girl's stage. (If you follow my stage selection suggestion)

Now, while you can do pretty much the stages any order you want, you can't get the gem of Sir FallenStar's stage without the bomb spell from Explosion Girl's stage. You don't have to beat the stage to get it though so if you want to follow my guide in the order you want, simply get the bomb spell from her stage.

In the 2nd area, take the top path after the 2nd security light block

Explosion Girl Stage
Now let's start things off with a blast with Explosion Girl

Memory 1
The first memory should be easy. You literally can't be miss it. Like, literally, shame on you if you do.

Memory 2 & 3 + Bomb Spell
In the 2nd area, when you past the 2nd security light block, you can either take the upper or lower path.

For Memory 2, simply just jump a little to your right and it'll be right there. Careful of gunfire though.

For Memory 3, take the upper path and carefully make your way past the spikes. Not only will you get Memory 3 for your troubles but you'll also get the much needed bomb spell for Sir FallenStar's Stage.

Memory 4
This one should be easy. When you ride the moving platform that's going across the abyss, just keep going on top of the platforms and you'll eventually run into it.

If you do happen to miss it, simply hurl Himari into the abyss and try again.
Memory 5
After defeating the giant robot mech mini-boss, just fall down once and go left until you see some spikes.

This one is really easy, just jump up and climb this wall.

And then there you go, easy as that.

Memory 6
This next one is a little tricky if you don't pay attention but should be no problem. Simply go to the left and grab it but remember those spikes from before?

The spikes can fall down on you and will most likely kill you, or at least seriously damage you if you got the life for it. It's not so hard to get by without the slow down spell though. Simply run left till you fall off a little bit, do a double jump and quickly dash till you're hugging the wall and stay there until all the spikes fall down.
Memory 7 + Gem
As you making your way back on track, you'll end up seeing a robot with a light roaming from the right.

It will go crazy and attack and summon 2 drones to fight you (if you let the light touch you) so just take it out easily with your beam spell before you let that happen. After that, jump up on the wall to the right and jump through a hidden ceiling.

From there, you only have to worry about a turret from your left but follow the right path, past the boxes, till you get here.

You may think there was only a 1-up (already taken = 3=; ) there but just double jump into the upper screen to find the hidden gem for the level.

After getting the gem, simply go into the right path where the robot was roaming for a heart, a box, and another memory.

Memory 8
You'll eventually fall down where you'll land on this platform.

This memory can be tricky, mostly due to the fact you can't double jump after wall climbing. This one gave me a little trouble myself until I figured it out. First take out the roaming robot to the left to make your attempts less stressful. Next, stand on the left edge of the red orb looking platform, jump (but not double jump) to your left, now dash when you're at your highest peak and then finally double jump and wall climb the wall on the right and bam, there ya go.

Magic Axe Spell
After collecting the last memory, just head left until you fall down here.

Normally you would think this is a death pit but it's actually not. So don't be scared and jump down. You'll end up seeing a npc to the left by the name of JJAR.

If you talked to Blind like I mentioned before, he'll end up teaching you the magic spell: Magic Axe

Word of caution though. Don't try to go back up the way you fell down. I don't know if this is a 100% bug but the first test run I did with this guide I ended up getting this cutscene but it unlocked nothing.

So to avoid re-doing the entire stage again, just go to the right past the boxes.
Sir FallenStar's Stage
After defusing the situation with Explosion Girl, it's time to raid Sir FallenStar's castle

Memory 1
Just like with Explosion Girl's Stage, you'll find the first memory very easily.

Memory 2
Another freebie.
As soon as you enter the castle there's a memory you can easily get from wall climbing the wall.

Memory 3 + 4
Just make your way across the lower path until you find the end of area.

Now just simply wall climb up and make your way to the left platform.

The third memory is just to your left but don't forget about that red colored wall to the right.

Now keep making your way to the left and you'll eventually end up where the 4th memory is.

Gem (Bomb Spell Needed)
Now let's make our way back to the red wall from earlier.

The red wall can't be destroyed by anything except from the bomb spell so just chuck a few and enter the secret room.

After making your way inside, just make it to the end and you'll eventually reach the gem. The jumping isn't very difficult so you'll do just fine.

Memory 5 + Star Spread? Spell + Secret Boss path
Now this is very interesting screenshot here.

You can easily see in the picture where memory 5 and the star spread? spell without me even telling you but the path to the secret boss would throw some people off.

After collecting them, go down here and walk through the wall.

Now simply wall climb the wall all the way to the top and walk on top of the ceiling to the right.

There we'll fight the secret boss who apparently doesn't like Inuyasha that much.

Most people I know would kill to have the chance to meet a real neko girl, not kill em.

And there we go, cross off one more hard to find achievement. : 3

Memory 6 + 7
After defeating the secret boss or going through the 2nd trap room with the crushing pillars, you'll end up here.

Simply make your way through the moving pillars and you'll easily find the 6th memory.

Now, the 7th one is tricky. Very very tricky.

As you can see, the 7th memory is at the top of the screen but doesn't seem possible to get normally
(item attract skill won't get memory)
but wait, do you see that opening there?

Go back to where the 6th memory was and use your time slowing powers from Explosion Girl and get up into the ceiling. You might get crushed a few times getting inside but trust me, it'll be worth it. ;3

Now after making it inside, go to the right and use your time slowing abiltiy and try with all your might to... wait a second. Why can't I go to the right?

This doesn't make sense. I mean, I can go up inside the ceiling from the other pillar but why can't I go and get the 7th memory? Ugh, I need to think about this for a second.

Now where can I... ah crap. I forgot to pause. Himari is gonna get crushed... through...
the ceiling?

..... Now. I know this may seem overly done but with how the secrets work in this game, I tried for the longest with my previous method, only finding out you simply have to let yourself basically get crushed to get up there? But the fake ceiling isn't for the entire pillar though as you can see.

I know I'm just complaining but after getting crushed there before, I wouldn't think that was the way.

: (
Memory 8
After gaining a few grey hairs from Memory 7, ride the elevator and eventually you'll see some spikes to the left surrounding the last 8th Memory.

It's not too hard to do but if you beat Explosion Girl, use the slow down ability to easily avoid the spikes and pat yourself on the back.

You're half way there for the good ending.

Roketto a.k.a. The Fonz
After a successful raid, we take to the skies to do battle with Roketto but seriously... look at him...

Don't tell me he doesn't look like the Fonz from Happy Days? Ayyyyyy~

Memory 1
You know the drill by now. The first one is REALLY easy to find on your own.

Memory 2
As soon as you enter the first shooter section, you'll find the 2nd memory right for the picking.

Memory 3,4,5+Yo-yo of Light Spell +Gem
After beating the first shooter section, you'll be happy to take note grabbing the memories on this stage been a cake walk. You most likely wouldn't need me at all at the moment so take your newly obtained flying ability to obtain the 3rd memory easily.

In the same map, the 4th is just a little ahead at the top of the map so you can easily grab that along the way too.

Now... even a little more further ahead in the same map you can grab both the 5th memory

and the yo-yo of light? spell.

You think I'm making that up. Take a look yourself.

Now finally... oh come on really? Really? Really..... okay. = 3=

So now... in the same map... again... when you find the mini-boss, just ignore it. : s

Yeah, that's right. Just ignore it and literally going under the stage to do.

After finally be able to move to another map, just simply fall directly down off the platform to your right and you'll easily find the gem of this stage. There's also a 1-up in the bottom right corner.

Memory 6 + 7
As soon as you finish the 2nd shooter section, you'll see the 6th memory is right underneath the
platform you spawned so just fly your way underneath it to the 6th memory.

Now for the 7th one, keep making yourself down till you see a lot of floating pillars with spikes them. Simply make your way to the left of them and you'll easily find the 7th one too.

Memory 8
In the next map... okay. Fonzie isn't even trying. With the exception of the gem, you should be able to find the memories and spell on Rockette's stage all by yourself if you don't rush.

Twosided Girl
After reminding The Fonz of happier days, we'll finally take on the last of the four,

Two SidedGirl with her two sided hair dye. Honey, you got a mirror. Just take a look and let it go.

Memory 1
You know the drill by now. Next!

Memory 2 + 3 & Ice sword spell
As soon as we enter the 2nd map, we'll be chased by some... umm... you know I don't know. : s

But on the way we'll run into the Ice sword spell.

Since we'll be chased during this entire map and it will do instant death if you let it get past you, if you have the slow down ability from Explosion Girl, you can give yourself some extra time to grab the spells and memories.

Memory 2 is on the other side of the platforms of the Ice sword spell so don't just rush on ahead just yet.

Not much further since getting memory 2, memory 3 will be at the top left here.

Memory 4 + Gem
After escaping... whatever that was, Himari will show us not only can she wall climb but mountain climb as well. I'm getting some weird BattleToads vibes here or is it just me?

Anyways, as you descend downwards, you'll eventually run into memory 4 easily.

Now this gem was very tricky to get during my first time playing the game but stop when you get further down when you get here.

Now do you see how there's a sqaure block that looks weird to the left? That's right, it's another hidden wall to get through.

Now, unlike the other gems, this one can cause you problems if you mess up and fall down since it'll just drop you to the next map with no chance of a 2nd try without restarting the stage again.
But since you got to this point, I know you can do it and your reward will be the last gem.

Memory 5
After dropping down to the area with moving spike platforms to the right, venture on till you find the 5th memory here.

Memory 6
After getting past the spiked platforms, head to the next map area and when you get to the point where you're jumping over the ice blocks that fall when stepped on, the 6th memory is here.

Hmm? How do we get it and not die you ask? Well...I don't know really. Only way I know is with the reverse time ability from TwoSided Girl but if you want the good ending you can't yet so...

to the abyss Himari goes.

Memory 7 + 8
Rejoice! We're almost done with the collectables in the game.

Now just simply make your way to the right and you can clearly see how to get memory 7 on your own.

Memory 8 can be a little tricky and requires a little thinking if you don't want to lose a life.

When you get on the bridge with the ice blocks that can fall when stepped on, make sure you don't run across enough to close off the path to the last memory.

As long as you dont make the last blocks fall there you'll reach the last memory just fine. Just remember to leave some space to come back up or you'll have a tricky time coming back up.

Now congratz! You finally got all 4 gems and all the memories. :3
Magic Leaflet Spell
Finally, by collecting all 4 gems, we can grab the last spell in the game.

After defeating all 4 bosses, the way to Warai-kun is open. It's located in stage 1.

When you defeat this boss here,

you'll have to make your way upward, avoiding a ton of instant death spikes and traps. When you reach the teleporter...

no.. not that one. Climb the wall on the right side to go higher. : s

Now we're talking. : 3

Only by obtaining all 4 gems can we use this teleporter to grab the last spell but one last thing stands between us. One last secret foe to finally take down before Warai-kun. Oh boy I'm excited. What would we even fight? :3

Not exactly the kind of fight I was expecting... not even the right kind of cat fight I wanted either... but whatever... kill it like the rest. :3

After defeating this unlucky kitty, you'll be rewarded with the Magic Leaflet Spell, the last spell in the game.
Questions?
It was fun making this guide and if anyone have any questions make sure to leave it in the comment sections. I hope I helped those who are having problems in the game, even if it was just one person.

UPDATE: The below is not actual, you need to "go to the town" after you received "Tthe Cat" spell to receive the achievement.

> There's a ballon in the tutorial you can grab along the way.
I can't find anything like this in the tutorial. And I can't find the "collect bonuses" message

Also, what spell did I miss?
I collected:
- Magic Spell
- Bomb Spell
- Star Spread
- Yo-Yo Light
- Ice Sword
- Magic Axe
- "The Cat"
No achievement.
