I suppose MAG gets better results against specific foes, but I just grab Pawns with those enchantments for that and use STR Augments to make the most of a STR build. Neat setup, I dig the Stamina pool, throw out those skills for days.
considering the fact that in no matter what vocation u level u always get statspoints in both (strength and magick) a pure strength build would waste that points! and their are enemies that have a high defense or are immune to physical attacks. doin both physical and magick dmg allways wins the upper hand in my book! the same is true for pure magick users. there is a spell that does deal physical damage. a must have for every caster!!!
As for the magick build, I'm saving it up for another run. Then there are speedruns for fun. You could consider this as a basic physical build. It's simple and straightforward.
