So you wanna play online but you keep facing Deidara users and you can never beat them?
Well,here's how you can do it!
There are some ways to beat a Deidara spammer. One of these is to use a good taijutsu character,like Neji or Mifune.
A number one rule against shuriken spammers (Deidara,Shino,Temari,Tenten etc) is to use chakra dash to get close to them. A Deidara player will probably keep spamming shuriken. You can try to spam shuriken or chakra shuriken against him,but he'll throw his clay birds directly. Shuriken will harm him though. He'll probably keep bombing you,so if your ninjutsu isn't fast,don't bother using it.
Having a fire style character is a good idea against him . PTS Obito's jutsu is really quick.
If you're gonna have supports,you absolutely must have Tobi in your team. Goofy one,not Rinnegan Tobi. Deidara must guard/sub or he'll get hit by Tobi's attack. If he does fall,this means he won't be able to bomb you for a short while.
I for one had a great time crushing 2 Deidara spammers with Tenten. Sometimes the best way to beat a spammer is another spammer. Tenten launches her ninja tools as fast as Deidara and she has a real chance to beat him. I've never lost against Deidara when I played Tenten. Deidara has no chance against Tenten's awakening. It's easy to get around as pretty much any other character (I've beaten Tenten with Roushi without even needing to awaken), but a Deidara spammer will pretty much spend a regular game either staying in one place or bombing from up above. Tenten's Bashosen Fireballs and other awakening actions overpower all the clay that Deidara could launch at you.
Deidara can be beaten by some agressive taijutsu. I personally love using Neji a lot more than other characters,and I did beat a couple Deidaras with him.
Minato and Guy can also work well,since they can directly teleport behind the enemy in the Awakening and they are pretty fast otherwise. Make sure to keep running and chakra dash them when you have the chance.
You should have at least one support on guard,since it will allow you to raise a little chakra without being bombed.
Make sure you never sub against him when he's bombing you. You'd just rejoin in the path of another clay bird. And don't attack him if you have no subs.
Remember - have Tobi as support
