Introduction:
Eh well the title kind of explains whats going to be in this guide. Maybe I'll put something here later?
PSA
Dragon nest will be transferred over from Nexon to Eyedentity games. This means Eyedentity games will be publishing and developing this game. The actualy change occurs on September 27, 2016. I'm hoping this revives the playerbase and reduce the P2W advantage.
Table of Contents:
1 - LEVELING
2 - 90 CAP
3 - Closure
LEVELING
Leveling should be your priority when you start the game. I won't be posting places to grind since there is already a guide for that on steam.

BOOSTING EXP
There are many ways to boost EXP so here are a few and how to get the boost:
Exp Boost: EXP Scroll
Acquiring Boost: Buy from NX Shop.
Amount: 200%.

Exp Boost: Guild
Acquiring Boost: Apply to a guild that has XP boost (Most maxed guilds).
Amount: Varies on guild level.

Exp Boost: Guild Armor*
Acquiring Boost: Buy from guild(Cost ~60g).
Amount: 30%.

Exp Boost: Friends Bonus**
Acquiring Boost: Running dungeons with a friend.
Amount: Small.

Exp Boost: Mentor
Acquiring Boost: Requesting a mentor from social list(Press, "O" ingame) or have a friend mentor you.
Amount: 10% for each mentor in the party. If your mentor has multiple pupils and all of you are in a party then you get 5% for each pupil.

Exp Boost: Hot Spring
Acquiring Boost: Resting at hot spring (located at the farm which west side of saint haven) on a sunday.
Amount: Unknown(Can't remember, I've only used this once).

*Although this isn't a huge boost, if you think you can afford it go for it.
**Can't verify this. Go ahead and try it, you've got nothing to lose.

If you have any other EXP boost i'm forgetting just leave a comment.

MAKING MONEY
Money isn't much of an issue until level cap. You may need to run a few quests that give money for new skills but for the most part you should save up until reaching cap. There are multiple ways to make money while leveling so heres a few:

STORY QUESTS
Honestly unless you're actually interested in the story (which isn't to bad) then I wouldn't do story quests. They used to be worth doing for EXP but grinding out dungeons is a lot faster. There is an exception though. At level 60+ each story quests gives you ~7g and quite a few of them you don't even need to finish the dungeon. I would grind out 1-60 and then start doing a few story quests for cash. In order to skip the 1-60 quests you can just go to your quests tab and there should be a skip button. Alternatively you can talk to [Stacy?] who is next to Irine in Saints Haven. She can skip quests although she never worked for me :P

GEARING
Since clearing dungeons is very easy then you really shouldn't have a gearing issue. Although there are a few exceptions. Sometimes I don't get a weapon for my class for 10-20 levels and I stop doing damage. If this happens you can try a few things:
A. Buy a weapon near your level for 1-15g (Wouldn't spend anymore)
B. Run Battle Dragon Nests for some gear (Can also give you plates and accessories)
C. Try a lower level dungeon in the hopes of getting a new weapon.
Since there is unified gear, you should be able to get good enough armor.

DRAGON GEMS
This is going to be a pretty short portion. At level 40+ you start getting dragon gems for your gear. Honestly I would just pick them up and put them on your gear since you will probably get rid of them soon. It doesn't cost anything and really just helps you.

BADGES
Badges are VERY important. Badges can be found as drops throughout dungeons and I highly suggest you pick them up. Currently the winter even is still going on so you can get a temporary pet for around 70 christmas stars and have them pick up badges. Once collecting quite a few you can give them to different NPCs. The ones I personally go to are:
Adventures: Stella(Sorceress Trainer)
Royal: Irine
Goose: Honest Ed
Independent: Loffy
Giving these badges to people gain points with that badges faction which can be spent by talking to Honest Ed -> Faction Shop. Other than Independent Badges they all have uses. (IB only increases friendship). At level 90 you can purchase up to 10 lvl 90 Pouches (forgot it's name) which can include Transcendent Diamonds, Transcendent Altheums, and Octogonal Water. If you get Transcendent Diamonds you can sell them or use them for enhancing gear! If you stack this with multiple characters then you can earn quite a bit. Other than the 90 pouches you can get 80 pouches which give you the same things but Exquisite tier. This is also very useful because of how relevent 80 gear still is.

MAX CHARACTER BONUSES
Leveling is comparatively fast and gets faster for each capped character you have. Up to 5 characters you get a 50% EXP bonus which adds up to a grand total of 250% EXP!

Might add some things to this section so stay tuned!
90 Cap
Once reaching 90 cap you can finally do what's left of end game. There are three nests and one dragon nest.
GEARING
Gearing is very important to maximize your damage potential. There are quite a few ways to gear so this is what I would do. Getting armor is nice and also easy so I wouldn't grind for it. You will eventually get a full set of cauda. Accessories are also very easy to get. Going to the dare devil fair and completing secret room can give you 10x tickets per run like. Use these tickets to speak to the fair dude who is outside the portal in order to buy the 80 accessories. Your priority should be a necklace since there are no offensive 90 ones. You can get the accessories if you want a boost in damage. Next up is getting a weapon. Getting a good weapon is pretty easy atm because cauda weapons kinda suck. Head over to the arena and get the 999 hit combo in the practice room either by yourself or having someone else do it for you (A sorceress can do this easy). This gives you 1000 medals to buy ruler weapons which upgrade a lot better than cauda. Alternatively if you've already done this but spent all your medals you can easily get leader weapons with goddess teardrops from the level up boxes. Upgrade your weapons and you should get a pretty good boost in damage. Doing dailies/abyss runs can get you some 90 gems or you can just buy them from the market. Now you should be able to run the nests.

In order of getting gear this is usually what I do:
Full 90 gear (without all accessories) -> Add dragon gems from either abyss mode or buying them on the market. -> Skill plates -> Stat Plates.
Make sure you also upgrade your weapon as this will be a good portion of your dps. Armor is also good to level so do that if your have the material.
Classes
CLASSES
I'm putting this at the bottom because I honestly think you should play classes that you enjoy. Currently there are a few classes that straight up suck (Crusader, Raven, Light Bringer*, Ice Witch?). I can understand if you would want to play some good characters but here are a few notable ones that I think are fun or are very good:

*Really only in PVE because his heal and summon shadows are bugged >.<

Assassin - Shinobi - Reaper - Class is based off of combos and is pretty fun to play. Has pretty good dps and gets buffed in the future.
Assassin - Shinobi - Raven - Personally my favorite assassin. His dps is complete ♥♥♥♥ tho so don't expect big numbers. He gets heavily buffed later so might be worth the investment.
Assassin - Taoist - Abysswalker - Pretty fun to play and spammy skills. Good in both pvp and pve!
Assassin - Taoist - Lightbringer - Have as much fun playing this character as abysswalker. Although he is very buggy and I would really avoid RDN. Other than that his dps is sub-par but good for solo.

Cleric - Paladin - Crusader - Probably one of the most fun classes in the game. Sadly it got nerfed to the point of being one of the worst classes in the game. Would still give it a shot though! Generally not accepted in RDN.
Cleric - Paladin - Guardian - Tank with guardian drop. Almost always guarenteed a spot in RDN (Red dragon nest AKA end game content)
Cleric - Priest - Saint - Healer. Basically needed for every RDN run.
Cleric - Priest - Inquisitor - Burst DPS. He used to be a hybrid but they took out most hybrids so now he has some good Burst DPS on immoble/slow bosses.

Archer - Sharpshooter - Sniper. Incredibly high damage output if played correctly. Missing shots can makes your dps drop harder than the people on the life support commercials. I see quite a few of these in RDN
Archer - Acrobat - Windwalker - Gets buffed in the future but as of now its kind of eh. Pretty fun for combos though so if you want to then give it a try (She also has a passive where if she stays in the air for 3 seconds, her ultimate resets!).
Archer - Sharpshooter -> Warden - A magical burst dps class that has a lower DPS than sniper and is around mid-high tier. Very fun IMO vs Sniper. Average in PvE, great in PvP.
Archer - Acrobat -> Tempest - Just like WW, this class isn't that great in PvE, but can destroy in PvP. Isn't really accepted into parties due to it's lack of DPS.

Sorceress - Mystic - War Mage - Bunch of lasers with insanely high dps. Don't know how it does in RDN
Sorceress - Elementalist - Pyromancer - Really good class, don't know how how fun it is though :P.
Sorceress -> Elementalist -> Ice Witch - Ice Witch sadly has lost all of it's ice stacking abilities, it can now only stack 1 layer which makes it's main support useless, the weakest out of sorc and is not really accepted into any party.
Sorceress -> Mystic -> Chaos Mage - Chaos Mage has a lower DPS than War Mage due to WM's insane laser abilities. Average DPS but excels in PvP.

Warrior - Mercenary - Barabarian - High risk, High Reward gameplay. If his HP is lower than 30% then he doubles his damage. This also means he can die quickly too. Luckily he has a few abilities to bail him out so he doesn't die as much. Also accepted in RDN.
Warrior - Swordsman - Lunar Knight - Really good scaling with Int makes his damage go outta the roof! He is generally easy to play and is pretty good for new players! Also accepted in RDN
Warrior - Mercenary - Destroyer - Honestly, Destroyers are really great. They have been buffed making them insanely strong (Sadly no one realizes it) and has great abilities in both PvP and PvE
Warrior - Swordsman - Gladiator - Pretty bad in PvE but getting a big buff soon. One of the strongest classes in PvP.

Lencea - Lancer - Dragoon - One of the best classes in the game due to one skill. Don't find it boring but not my favorite class.
Lancea - Lancer - Valkyrie - Pretty good dps but definitely not dragoon tier. Her skills are pretty fun but I've never had one so can't say for sure.

Kali -> Dancer -> Blade Dancer - Very fun DPS class, excels in pvp and lacks in pve, both dancers are receiving a buff in the future. Mostly taken for it's dance buff and avg dmg
Kali -> Dancer -> Spirit Dancer -> When played right, can dish out huge dps. PvP is a breeze with Praetor (50). Receiving a buff in the future which will raise SD to a higher tier. Would prefer this dancer over blade, but both are great. Mostly taken for it's dance buff and avg dmg.
Kali -> Screamer -> Soul Eater -> Great in PvE, DMG is average, but makes up for that with it's debuffs and average burst dps.
Kali -> Screamer -> Dark Summoner -> The dominating class in PvP and is the strongest Kali out of all 4 in PvE. However, this comes with a price. maining a DS in PvP you will receive hate and is hard to master in PvE.

Tinkerer -> Engineer -> Shooting Star - Was insanely great previous cap, but now the devs decided to retract and nerf it to the ground. Weakest out of Tinkerer family.
Tinkerer -> Engineer -> Gear Master - GM has been buffed out the ass and is top tier DPS along with Sniper. Excels in PvE, [unknown in pvp] Annoying af in pvp.
Tinkerer -> Alchemist -> Physician - Physician has been changed since previous cap, most skills have been camera locked and toxic spill r-click has turned into a cure instead of a heal. Really good burst dps because of her ultimate and a great secondary healer. Can also remove debuffs.
Tinkerer -> Alchemist -> Adept - Adept, nothing impressive really, slightly lower DPS than Physician (hopefully that'll change soon) but is still a great burst dmg class that isn't terrible. Meh in PvE but excels in PvP with it's massive AoE.

Big thanks to alch for adding some of these classes in!

Ill probably add more classes later but It's kind of late so this is it!
Nests
With the release of 90 cap most of the previous nests were taken out but 2. Honestly this kinda sucks because those nests were pretty enjoyable but they will be coming back in the future.

LOCATION
At the moment to get to the 2 nests you need to enter the Garden of Eternity in the middle of Saints Haven.

GUIDE
If your running the regular nests then you shouldn't have that much of a problem. Running HC nests may cause of a problem depending on how much you can dodge.

Manticore:

1st Boss:

This boss is probably the most pain in the ass your going to have. If you play a class that requires bosses to stay still then your going to have to try extra hard. Most of his attacks are easy to dodge and have a quite a bit of start-up lag. Honestly if your playing up close to him then use some of your fast skills until the gargoyle uses a skill. Once he starts his skills you should be good to go for using longer casting skills.
DAILIES
So dailies are quests which, surprise, you can run daily!
You can get the daily quests from the Priestess of Darkness Mocha (near Terminus Gateway),
There are 5 missions each with a quest giving 4 gold which totals up to be 20g per daily run. This doesn't include the chance of getting a gold goblin or getting a gold chest. There are also end rewards which can give you a Blessed Stone or materials/gear. If you happen to get a Blessed Stone you can create a party and sell the buff to people 20g each which amounts to a huge amount of gold since the cooldown is only 60 seconds. Other than this reward you can get goddess lements(GL) which are extremely useful. GL's can be used for buying magnifying lens which can be used to see chest types at the end of a mission. You should definitely use these lens on hardcore nests but I wouldn't recommend them on normal nests.

TL;DR
Do dailies for goddess lements to buy magnifying lens's.
Tier List
Oh yes the dreaded tier list. Many players absolutely despise the tier list and although I can see why, I can also see why people would want tier lists.

Most people who complain about tier list say that people should just play what they find fun. I definitely agree with this but even so some classes are extremely bad right now (most of which are getting buffed) and it might be discouraging to continue the game when comparing their damage to others. One prime example of this is acrobat. I loved playing windwalker but her damage is so bad right now that I just cc'd to Sniper. Also taking in the fact that gearing takes months to do can really push players to quit the game. With all of this also being said most classes, that need a buff, will get buffed in the future so I definitely would play a class that you enjoy. So without further ado I have here the very much incomplete tier list.

PS (This tier list is just based off of my own characters and seeing others play)
PSS (This is PvE!!)
PSSS(Most classes in PvP are viable)
PSSSS(This tier list is based off of how the class is in its own role (DPS, Support, Tank). So a guardian won't be doing as much damage as a gearmaster but is currently the best tank in game.)

@Recon20P so is dragons nest not gonna be availible?
Runescape  [author] 11 Aug, 2016 @ 9:57am
@mite_the_cat Nexon has finally given up dragon nest and handing the game over to the developers, Eyedentity games. Since the playerbase for this game is extremely small, I guess it isn't creating enough money for nexon. Now Eyedentity game will be developing and publishing Dragon nest. Here's the forum post of the announcement: http://dragonnest.nexon.net/community/forum#%2Fshowthread.php%3F1544208-Notice-of-Dragon-Nest-Service-Transfer%26nxid%3D62

@mite_the_cat
Currently not working on any guides and probably won't until the transfer happens. If you do want to put a skillbuild or youtube video on here then i'll add it. I agree, lightbringer is a lot of fun to play but he has some things that need fixing :P
mite_the_cat 10 Aug, 2016 @ 1:14am
are you planning to make another guide, because this is great, ive made a light bringer skill guide,i was hoping to write down the skills and show them that the dead classes such as lightbringer is actually really fun
