General Info about Shares
Shares return from Re;Birth1, for the most part they function the same like first game as they determine what ending you get and which characters you get to unlock. You raise one and decrease one nation's shares by doing quests and colosseum fights. Here's a little warning if you are trying to unlock the Oracles, you MUST do the True Ending at least once because their plans require materials from the True Ending exclusive areas. One small little change made is that you can now make Arfoire regain shares via quests if it's at 0%. But why would you ever do that?

Characters unlocked by raising Lowee's Shares
  • MarvelousAQL (Unlocked at 30%)
  • Blanc (Unlocked at 50%)
  • Mina Nishizawa (Unlocked at 75% if her plan is activated)

Characters unlocked by raising Lastation's Shares
  • Cyberconnect2 (Unlocked at 30%)
  • Noire (Unlocked at 50%)
  • Kei Jinguji (Unlocked at 75% if her plan is activated)

Characters unlocked by raising Leanbox's Shares
  • Tekken (Unlocked at 30%)
  • Vert (Unlocked at 50%)
  • Chika Hakozaki (Unlocked at 75% if her plan is activated)

Characters unlocked by raising Planeptune's Shares
  • Histoire (Unlocked at 75% if her plan is activated)

Endings that require shares
  • Planeptune Ending
  • Lastation Ending
  • Lowee Ending
  • Leanbox Ending
  • True Ending
  • Conquest Ending
  • Holy Sword Ending
Disclaimers
To make the grindfest easier, go for the Destroy Symbols + Symbol Attack Gains plans since you will skip to the rewards section of a fight if you have both of those plans on the same time. If you don't have the materials for those plans, at least go for the Super EXE plan to make the quests easier.

I know this is a given for any game, but remember to save or take a break occasionally. Definitely had a few times where the game would crash on me before I got to save my progress.
Colosseum
While it isn't the most effective way to raise shares on your first run due to the enemies being a bit overleveled, it is definitely one of the easiest ways to manage your shares once Arfoire has zero shares. Depleting Arfoire's shares to 0 isn't an easy task and the "quickest" ways to drain them is to either do "Avenge my Cousin!" or "Slay the Dragon" quests where you will hunt one tough monster respective to each quest. The former increases Planeptune Shares, while the latter increases Leanbox Shares. Do note that you first have to unlock the colosseum via a plan before you can use it.
Quests
The alternative to raise shares is to do quests. While it is slower compared to doing the Colosseum, it is more friendly to players on their first playthrough. There are a set of quests that are easy to do even if you are underleveled. The upcoming images will show the map where the quests take place and will have yellow circles to show which enemies will give you the requirements needed for the quest.
Increasing Lowee's Shares

First off we will start with Lowee as it doesn't get much freedom with recieving shares compared to the other 3 nations. Accept the "The Day Lowee Stood Still" quest, this gives 2% of shares to Lowee from Arfoire. Use characters that can hit multiple opponents at once. (ex. IF with Demonic Inferno) It's recommended to go after the 2 enemies on the west side as they'll often give you all the Tetsir you will need. (First gives 3-4 while the second one gives out 1-2) On the rare occasion you get only 4 from the two enemies from the west side, you can either head east as that area has 3 enemies that can spawn a Tetsir or leave/re-enter the dungeon. Repeat this until Lowee has its shares at the desired amount.
Increasing Lastation's Shares

Next we will be raising the shares of Lastation, accept the "Lost Pon-Pon" quest. Unlike the previous quest, this one requires you to have materials from the monster rather than you having to get a specified amount of kills. This means if you have the materials, you can go straight to accepting/reporting the quest rather than having to go back to the dungeon to get the requirements needed for the quest. Having the Super EXE Drive plan can speed up the process as you can spam ones that hit multiple enemies like IF's Apocalypse Nova without running out of the bar. If you don't have the plan, using weapons that get long range works as well (ones that have a horizontal line for its range) and using skills/EXE Drives that hit multiple enemies.

Assuming Lastation's shares is at 0, you would need 51 Polyhedron as you would need to do the quest 17 times to get Lastation's shares to 50. Otherwise you won't need that much if Lastation has some shares already like 10 or above. Repeat until you have enough Polyhedron to get the shares needed for Lastation.
Increasing Leanbox's Shares

We will be heading to Leanbox next as the quest, "Godly Materials Needed!", is pretty simple despite being in the LAN Castle. As you can see on the map, most of the enemies provide Whirling Tail drops and the map's path is linear so you will only need to go forward. Read the notes about Lastation's shares above for tips on the fights. Repeat until you have your desired amount of shares.
Increasing Planeptune's Shares

Finally we will be ending this off these quests with Planeptune. Accept the "Please, Nya." quest and head to Rebeat Resort. Repeat until you have your desired shares.
Alternative Quests to Raise Shares
Any suggested quests to speed up the share raising go here.

Leanbox -> Planeptune

This quest requires you to have the Add Enemies Plan for Arfoire Factory, the enemy itself is pretty tough if you don't have the Destroy Symbols + Symbol Attack Gains plans. However, it does give Planeptune 7 shares so it is more optimal if your team is strong enough or you got the previously mentioned plans.
Final thoughts and etc
Thanks for taking the time to read my guide. I tried my best to improve upon it based on the feedback I have been receiving and from the time I spent playing this game. Any feedback is appreciated and if there's any repeatable quests that are more efficient than the ones I listed, I'd be glad to add it into the guide.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll update it tomorrow when I'm not too busy.

Also, I suggest renaming the guide to Shares Guide. (Since this guide also applies when pursuing 75% for Histy, Chika, and Kei, among others.) To make searching for this easier.

Yo guys, I was finding ways to speed up the process of the shares, but it's been brought to my attention that there's a missing link between Leanbox -> Planeptune. If you Add Enemies in Arfoire's Factory (iirc, you'd need a couple more unlocks to do that, and do not go to the Sharecite in Graveyard before Depths yet), you will unlock "Perfomance Test!". It gives 7% Planeptune for 7% Leanbox. And you only have to defeat Deux Ex Machina once (plus you get Large Medal S)

Please add this so that others won't bear my pain of converting Leanbox shares to Planeptune!

Yep it's possible. Assuming you saved after getting the True Ending and went into New Game+ (again), all you have to do is just do the requirements needed to unlock the ending.

Is it possible to get the Holy Sword ending after the True Ending?

In regards to Rebeat Resort, if you take off add enemies plan you can get 3 mobs that will give you cardboard drop. Makes it a bit easier.
