Beskrivning
Some servers do not support the High Dynamic Range, brightness problems appear:
- buggy bright display on some maps
- annoying incorrect brightness of unlighted materials (screens, etc.)
- etc.

This addon allows players to disable the HDR in 1 single click.
A message is displayed when they connect. Players can choose whether to disable HDR or to keep it enabled.
In addition, this addon replaces the rendering if HDR is kept enabled, causing a slight loss of FPS.

Install it on the server and forget about the disturbing HDR!

Configuration
These parameters take place in garrysmod/cfg/server.cfg.
Changes are effective immediatly for joining clients, except for mat_hdr_nospecular.
• Show a request to disable the HDR when a client joins? 0/1

• Replace the HDR rendering by a non-HDR one when a client has the HDR enabled? 0/1

• Disable the mat_fastspecular when a client has the HDR enabled? 0/1

It is the High Dynamic Range, a technology that compensates the brightness to simulate the eye sensitivity to light.

It actually fixes any map that has bad HDR settings. You can also disable the High Dynamic Range in your game settings if you play these maps alone.

Oops dude, I misread. It lowers the FPS in the case I mentioned.
Otherwise there is no really noticeable difference.
