This guide lists all achievements of Train Valley and gives descriptions or advice how to unlock them.
The game features "Seasons", collections of 5 levels that task you with missions and 1 free play level that ends after the timer runs out. When adressing any levels in this guide I will order them by season first. (Season 2, Level 5 = Level 2-5)

• The pause button is your best friend in this game. You can take any action while paused and plan a couple of steps ahead.
  
• Try to avoid having 2 trains directly behind each other. You won't be able to operate a switch if a train is still partially on it and the next one enters.
  

Getting started
Receive 5 stamps.
Complete 5 missions over any number of levels.

Collector
Receive 15 stamps.
Complete 15 missions over any number of levels.

Philatelist
Receive 30 stamps.
Complete 30 missions over any number of levels.

Tycoon
Receive 60 stamps.
Complete 60 missions over any number of levels.

Every Season provides a maximum of 15 stamps. So You will need to fully complete all 4 seasons to get these achievements. The DLC Germany provides a fifth season for the next achievement.

Chancellor
Receive 75 stamps.
Complete 75 missions over any number of levels.

Europe
Complete the first season.


America
Complete the second season.


Russia
Complete the third season.


Japan
Complete the fourth season.


Let's roll!
Launch a rocket.
In level 3-5 a rocket is under construction. Completing this level will result in it taking off and unlock the achievement.
Living it large
Become a millionaire.
Earn a total of 1 million over the course of your playthrough. The score is carried over from all played levels so it should be almost impossible not to get this achievement.

Close call!
Get two trains pass very close to each other.
This happens frequently during normal gameplay and should be easily achieved.

Forgotten.
Complete a level with the first deployed train delivered the last.
Since this achievement is not level restricted it can be easily done on the first levels of the game like 1-1 or 1-2. Just build a seperate track and stop the first train there. Then route all following traffic over a different path. Finally bring the stored train to its destination.

Non Stop!
Complete any level on 2, 3 or 4 season without pausing the game.
Level 2-1 can be used for this. Just leave the game speed set at 1x (or higher if you want to be hardcore XD ).

Chuck Norris
Blow up 10 trains and complete a level.
Easy enough, just needs a level with many trains, like any X-6.

Vandal
Destroy a building worth 100k.


Lucky vandal
Destroy a building worth 100k and complete a level.
Choose one of the later japanese levels since they tend to have expensive buildings. Hover over buildings with the demolition tool to see their value. Play the level as normal and when the last train is about to arrive destroy a building costing 100k. At that point your balance should be high enough. This way you get the Vandal achievement simultaneously.

Maniac vandal
Destroy buildings worth 300k and complete a level.
The best levels to do this are 4-6 and 5-6. Play the level as normal and try to gather as much money as possible. At best no train will crash and you spawn 2 to 4 extra trains. Before the last train arrives you need 300.000$ and 1 or 2 times the annual tax in your account (so you dont go bankrupt before the level is over). Pause and destroy buildings (not trees or anything else!) that sum up to at least 300k then finish the level successfully.

Madness!
Complete 80% of any level at speed x2.
The use of the pause button does not affect this achievement so pick a level, set the game speed immediately to 2x and leave it there until the achievement pops up. Frequently pausing should help with tricky situations.

Completely nuts!
Complete 50% of any level at speed x4.
Same as with previous achievement.

Mega-railroad
Complete a level with 300 track tiles.
This one requires a lot of space to build and a lot of money. So the free play levels 2-6 and 3-6 lend themselves well to this. Play the level as you would normally and when the final train is on the track stop it and cover every open tile with tracks. To be safe you should remove as many buildings as possible but remember: demolishing a 50k building are 50 tracks less built.

Salesman
Make a train visit 8 different Stations.
To unlock this achievement you need a level with 8 stations.
Possible levels: [3-5,6], [4-3,4,5,6], [5-3,4,5,6]
The safest way to do this is with the final train of the level, so that other trains won't be forced out of the stations and cause accidents. Once your tracks are clear, start the train and send it to every station once (including its spawn) and finally to its destination.

Juggler
Complete a level with 10 simultaneously running trains.
For this achievement you will need a level with a lot of space. It also helps when the trains are shorter which you find in the earlier seasons. Try levels 1-6, 2-6, 3-6 (have much space) or 1-1 and 2-3 (tend to have 1-cart trains).
First you should pile up some money, so start spawning extra trains early. Most levels give you a window to spawn 2 trains before the first regular one appears. When the level is in its last third start collecting all incoming trains. Build a couple of dead tracks to store them there but don't stop them end-to-end, they need about a tile worth of space. If you don't exactly know how many trains the level will provide you can keep spawning more of them but beware since the extra trains tend to be longer than the regular ones. If you get a very short train in the earlier parts of the level save that one right there.When you have 10 trains all standing on the tracks (preferably close to their destination) pause the game, make them all start and unpause. Let them move for about 2-3 seconds (that's the 'simultaneously running' part) and pause the game again. Now you only need to finish the level. If you can afford it you could even let all those trains crash into each other. The level will end once the last train has arrived / is destroyed.

Ouroboros
Make a train crash into itself.
Pick a level that has rather long trains in it (4-4, 4-5, 4-6). Build a track circle that can be accessed from one of your regular tracks but is not in the way of your traffic routes. Now keep an eye on your trains. If you find one that has 7 carts send him over to that circle and lead him in.

Since Patch 1.0.3 the collision detection has been improved. A train with 6 carts can now fulfill this achievement.

Prick of conscience
Fail 10 tasks.


Builder
Build 1000 track tiles.
The progress is updated for every piece of track you build, not just at the end of a level.

Foreman
Build 5000 track tiles.


Engineer
Build 10000 track tiles.


BBQ
Remove 50 animals.
Levels 1-2,3,4 and 2-1,5 have sheep or horses and level 3-2 has bears.

Woodcutter
Remove 300 trees.


Just in time!
Transport 500 trains.


Missed it!
Transport 50 trains to a wrong destination.


It's no coincidence
Go bankrupt 10 times.


Sabotage
Blow up 100 trains.


Need to think
Press pause button 100 times.

With the release of the DLC for the german season some new achievements have been added. Many of those can be unlocked in the main game. However these are tied to levels from the DLC.

Achtung!
Get bombed.
In level 5-2 several bombers appear at set points in time and destroy some of your tracks. The first one will appear in late 1905.

Supercrash!
Have an accident with supertrain and complete a level.
Level 5-3 features the Breitspuhrbahn. Have an accident with it and finish the level.

Peacemaker
Remove 10 tanks.
This works with the WWI tanks in 5-2 and the tanks in 5-4. Just start 5-4, remove the 4 tanks with the destruction tool and restart the level. Repeat until the achievement pops.

Germany
Complete the fifth season.
