Super Dynamic Map Generation

Beskrivelse
Super Dynamic Map Generation mod gives the player more control over how the terrain of the map is generated by making almost every range of values more dynamic.

For an example, when mountain setting slider is set to minimum, no mountains will spawn outside of specific races' starting areas and cities.
Likewise setting mountain slider to maximum will cause almost all of the map to be mountains.

Is it me or are maps all super lumpy? I generated a map using the same geography as my last map and noticed this mod makes every square inch of ground very hilly and undulated.

A consequence of low mountain density perhaps?

Is it possible to somehow mod an option to have only one terrain type? Like a full 100% arctic or tropical map.

I don't think either of those are possible. Terrain all have their own entries, and as far as I can remember, there are no fields for orientation. As for the second one, I don't think it is possible to make it possible with the provided tools alone.

i love your extended settings mod aswell as this one, i am always for more freedom to adjust settings of a gaae to personalize these to our needs. Nicely done!

May i ask, is there an option to lump together different types of terrains and/or give them more orientation on the map like snow should be on the north and south, but not in the center?
Is it possible to make a map in a way that you can move out on one side and come in on the other other side to simulate a world globe?

It works with my Extended Settings mod, but I am not sure about Decodence, I have never tried it myself.

Is this mod compatible with other map generation mods such as Decadence or the "World gen settings" mod that allows for Titanic sized maps?

Whew, didn't get to this for a while.

Set up a world, dragged all sliders to 0 except for Undiggable Walls. The game moved heaven and earth (literally) to make paths through impassable areas. Two examples:

First one, that chain of land. It's mighty impressive.
Second one, a bit hard to see (had to show on overlay to make it clear), it's put a bridge there and turned undiggable wall into diggable, just to make the area passable. All diggable I've found was in that area.

It also seems to have generated most terrain as fertile plains. Found ~20 hexes each of dense veg. and barrens, clustered.

But yeah, cool. It's generated a few nice terrain setups, and while it doesn't make any seriously impassable terrain, it does make some nice chokepoints, which is what I was looking for. So, nicely done sir!

Based on my preliminary tests, no, here are enough paths between players so that reaching other players is possible.
