Patient care doesn't actually appear to be based on customer happiness but on getting patients treated in under par time. This measure is closely tied to the "Capability" component detailed later.

If you're having difficulty getting this rating up, use the computer and then the Admissions button to see a list of patients. Click on the name of the patient that is either close to death or unhappy. Try to figure out why they are unhappy and fix it. For example, if the patients are stuck at reception, there's a good chance your receptionists are lazy so they're not processing patients. Fire the receptionists and hire ones that aren't lazy.

There are three keys here:

• Fire staff that are mean and replace them with staff that are playful. When two or more staff are idle in one room, they pass the time by interacting with each other. By all of your staff being playful, the experice will be positive instead of negative, raising this rating.
  
• Make sure there is a comfort object (e.g. sofa) in every room. When staff are alone in this room (e.g. researcher), this object will allow them to raise their recreation rating.
  
• Make sure to have a well stocked staff room. Place some vending, pinball, and arcade machines in there so staff members can raise their recreation ratings fast.

Given enough time having performed the above, the staff care rating should max out.

I'm not 100% sure but I believe this connected to patient queues. This means you have to have all of the medical equipment to treat all of their illnesses and you have to have enough of each type of equipment (and it must be staffed) so there aren't long waiting lists to use one type. If you're trying to max this category, move around your hospital searching for patients that are congregating. Click on them to see what they're waiting for. If you notice a lot of them waiting to use one machine, add another one or maybe even two.

In Series 3, Episode 4, I noticed there was at least five people queued to use the bodyscanner which was always in use when I looked. I added two more bodyscanners as well as putting all three next to each other in separate rooms and capability hit 100%. Which machines become the bottleneck depends on the type and quantity of illnesses entering the hospital.

This one is actually quite easy if you have the money and space for it. Sure, you can do it the right way by placing pictures on walls and flowers along corridors, or you could just spam a decorative object like the 2x2 water fountains at the back of your hospital where no one will see it. Oh, make sure you have enough janitors and they're working too. Beauty is a combination of decorative objects and cleanliness.
