IMPORTANT INFO : Atma Weapon will no longer be updated due to limitations of the MSI installer that prevents from adding more pages or sprites to it. Also, It is recommended to select NONE for Reshade on Page 7 as this older version of Reshade is no longer compatible with most modern computers. Finally, Installing unlocks modding mode for the game, which allows you to download and install ANY other mods by simply downloading them and dragging the files directly into your game obb folder.

PROJECT ATMAWEAPON is a web-installer for Final Fantasy VI mods that is currently in open beta. The web-installer includes previously released mods from A World Reborn as well as the Classic preset and a new Remastered version. The installer also allows the user to customize the installation manually by selecting any of the 76 mods manually and create their own custom version of the game.

EVERYTHING below this point might be outdated and no longer applicable since the newest version of the installer allows for manual selection of every mods after selecting a default preset. Also, the NOS and Hybrid were merged to create an definitive Remastered version.

The mods listed below are included in default installations. There are 4 presets right now: AWR (A World Reborn), NOS (Nostalgia), Hybrid (a mix of AWR and NOS), and Classic (closest to SNES version).

This section might help you choose which preset installation will please you more, so you can easily check the differences between them. We won't get into too much details here, but it should give you a general idea.

We intend to add a Customize option to the installer soon™. For now if you want to customize your mod installation, follow these steps:

1. Make sure the game is installed on Steam. Download the latest Atma Weapon Installer zip.
   
2. You have to extract the files from the main.obb before you apply the mods you've selected. To do that, run the exe from Atma Weapon Installer zip. From here, it depends on what version you want to use as base. If you want any of the 4 presets from Atma Weapon, just pick the one you want. If you want to use Steam's version as base, click the "Skip to Tools" button instead of the 4 presets.
   
3. Download any additional mods from the urls.ini (or from the Steam Guide).
   
4. Extract them with 7zip[www.7-zip.org] into the FF6 folder directly, replacing all files when prompted.
   
5. If anything goes wrong and you don't know what the problem is, you can always run Atma Weapon Installer exe to uninstall it, then uninstall FF6 from Steam. Delete the game installation folder, too, just in case. After that, reinstall FF6 on Steam, and then go back to step 2 above.

Description:
This removes the games shimmering effect upon movement and forces a correct Pixel rendering by forcing correct resolutions relative to the games Tilespace and Tile Resolution resulting in improved Visuals.

Description:
This mod is intended only for those who have used Atma Weapon Installer. It was created for any 16:9 resolution, and may not work properly otherwise. Its purpose is to use ReShade's Layer effect in order to replace the black sidebars with much cooler sidebars, in case you want to play on full-screen.

How to Use:

1. First, make sure you have installed Atma Weapon (any version), or at least ReShade.
   
2. Then copy the "reshade-shaders" folder from the .7z and paste it into your "Final Fantasy 6" installation folder. Note that there's an "reshade-shaders" folder there already.
   
3. When prompted, make sure you say "yes" in order to replace the files.
   
4. When you run the game, open the ReShade overlay (Home or Pos 1 key by default) and activate "Layer.fx". Alternatively, hitting Ctrl+A should also toggle Layer.

Description:
Enables you to decrypt FLB files which allows access to things like the UI and many other assets. There are quite a few FLB files that haven't been explored, and is an undocumented wasteland.

How to Use:
You have to open the FLB files from obb>Flb. Inside, you'll see a list of image elements, usually parts of a bigger thing. You can then import/export PNG images to your liking.
