What is this feature about?/Na czym to polega?

English:
This feature allows you to discover a recipe for an item that you haven't picked up yet, it's pretty simple and you can get good items really quick with it.

Polish:
Ta ukryta opcja pozwala na odkrycie nowego przepisu bez podnoszenia odpowiadającgo jej przedmiotu, jest to bardzo proste i pozwala na szybkie uzyskanie dobrych przedmiotów.

How to use this feature?/Jak korzystać z tej zawartości?

English:
1. Select any item in crafting menu.
2. Click on "magnifying glass" icon marked by red "1".
3. Then, click on any item in materials tab (item marked by red "2")
4.???
5. Profit! You just got an recipe! Yay.

Polish:
1. Wybierz dowolny przedmiot z którego chcesz wziąć przepis w menu tworzenia.
2. Kliknij na ikonkę szkła powiększającego, zaznaczoną czerwonym "1"
3. Kliknij na dowolny przedmiot w "materials" (zaznaczone czerwonym "2")
4. ???
5. Udało ci się! Właśnie odblokowałeś nowy przepis!

Haha, okay then. I just found it weird when from one bar of steel I was able to research a ton of other recipies only by clicking with magnifying glass tool thingy. Anyways, thanks for reminding me ;P

This is actually intended behavior. We didn't like the idea that someone might find a recipe, but not be able to craft it because they don't have the recipe for a sub-component. It is sorta weird, but we're actually considering changing the recipe system (possibly adding a research menu or something) so the system may change to get rid of the weirdness.

That is exactly what I have described here, it shouldn't do this. You should find/craft some parts that will unlock you new recipes, not just click and research everything.

Actually it does both things. For example: I got something (forgot what it was called) but I didn't automatically learn the recipe so I used the magnifying glass to find the recipe then BAM, new recipe.

Yes, but it is going to show you a recipe that is avaible - a one that you know, not a one that you haven't discovered yet.

This isn't a glitch it's part of the game. If you hover over the magnifying glass it says "allows you to target an item to find it's recipe, if available"
