DoubleClickEquip

Beskrivning
READ BEFORE USE
You can't play in multiplayer when using mods. MOds in windward leave a mark on your savegame and uninstalling a mod resettes huge parts of your game (your gold, level, items) to the point it was before using any mod.

this is also true for "utility mods" like this one. Use at own risk

What this mod does:
With this mod you can Equip items with a double click instead of a popover-menu or drag and drop.

Ursprungligen skrivet av author:
I ust found out that the game has already fast equip / fast sell shortcuts:
to equip: shift + click the item
to sell: ctrl + click the item

Uninstalling the Mod
Added an utility funciton to remove my mod from items:

Press ingame [F6], and the mod will check all items in your inventory, your equipment and items sold in the town you are currently docked to and removes this mod from the items.
Use this command before uninstalling this mod, and you can keep your items.

  • Your Tresor is not included in this!
  • Your gold will be resetted to the point it was before using the mod
  • You'll loose all levels you gained while the mod was installed

if you don't play in multiplayer i'd recommend to keep the mod installed. (because its not harmfull)

Can you create a mod to buy several boats in the city and thus be able to kill all the boats in the difficult maps?

i took your advise and changed the description a bit. but the mod does exactly what it should and i will not remove the content.

if you are really interested in modding a game, you'd inform you beforehand and you'd see that any mod will leave a mark on your items/gold/level and removing the mod will reset your save to the point it was before using the mod..

If you really care about modding a game, you'd read the mod description before installing it.

i don't see myself responsible for people using this mod without reading the description.

If you really would care, you would put something like "THIS MOD CORRUPTS YOUR SAVE
GAMES!!" or so as First words of the description and remove the content that is downloaded
without removing the mod itself.

Yeah its the way windwards "mod-policy" works. :/ cant realy do something beside it except for my F6 command

This has caused so many problems, rendering items useless with "mod mismatch" turning it off or unsubscribing has no effect. Loced out of games, etc. Terrible.

Nice addition! Like you mentioned in the forums, it would be nice if it didn't trigger the mod mismatch when uninstalling :)
