TF2 is an easy game to run, very easy in fact. It's just that Nvidia and/or your PC setting poorly optimize your expierience.

To fix this, you first want to enter your Control Panel and search for "Power Options".
Here you will find 2 Options: Balanced and Power Saver. We will not be checking either of these, but rather an option hidden by a "Show Additional Plans". Click on it to open up the 3rd option, High Performance and check it.

Yeah. That's it. Y-your done. Unless if you are still having questionably bad FPS. If so, you need to make some simuilar changes in your Nvidia control panel.

To start off, go to your Nvidia control panel. Then, to the right, you see a "Manage 3D Settings" option. Click on it. You will then see 2 Columns, "Global Settings" and "Program Settings". By default, you will already be on the "Global Setting" tab, so no need to visit it. Scroll down the tab until you find "Power Management Mode". Change it to "High Performance". Then, go to the "Program Settings" tab, and basically repeat the same proccess.

And huzzah! Just like that, your FPS increases by an astounding amount...
