To get the achievement, Lady Katarina has to kill a boss. It's enough to let her deliver the final blow, so just attack any boss until he is below 30% HP and let her do the rest. Just make sure that you don't use any DoT attacks or minions!

He will start attacking you now and drops a "Woody Snack" (Consumable, +1 to all stats) when he dies. Don't forget to use the item!




Eviction Enforcement
Find the hiding Domovoy.

Details: Click on the minecart to "evict" a Domovoy from it




Grey Treasures
Loot the Grey Wizard.

Details: Just loot the "Grey Wizard" to get the achievement




A smith's dream
Find the Rare Ore.


Location: Cold Caverns
Details: You will find "A very small skeleton" in this area. To get the achievement, you have to inspect the skeleton first and click on the nearby "Mysterious Ore" afterwards.




It was a blast!
Save the Bomb Expert's life.


Location: Thunderhead Mountain
Details: You will find a man stuck under some boulders in this area. Although he gives you detailed instructions on how to free him, you should ignore them. Place the dynamite on the boulder and take Lady Katarina's advice instead!




Lunar Collection
Find all three moonstones.


Location: Giantwoods
Details: Two moonstones can be found on corpses at #1 and #2. To get the third moonstone, you have to accept and complete the quest "Gate of Perun" at #3.




Masterfully Botched Gift
Find the Masterfully Botched Armor.


Location: Giantwoods
Details: After defeating some monsters in this area, the nearby stone heads will start talking about your monster-hunting skills and drop the "Masterfully Botched Armor" as your reward.




Who cares whether it's poisonous?
Eat the Suspicious Mushroom.


Location: Giantwoods
Details: You can buy various items from the NPC in this area. Some of them are useless, while others are consumables or can be used later. To get the achievement, you have to buy and use the "Suspicious Mushroom" (Consumable, +5 Luck).

In your face, Jones!
Collect 10 Relics for the Resistance.


There are 12 Relics that give a bonus to your Resistance captains, if you equip them. Some of those Relics are gained after completing Resistance missions, while others can be found throughout the game.

Success with clean hands
Complete a Tower Defense campaign map without killing a single monster directly - kill with traps only!


While you can get the achievement on every Tower Defense map, it's very easy to accomplish on the first mission ("Subterranean Incursion"). Just focus on building "Ray-O-Frost" and "Freeze-O-Floor" traps in addition to the "Rocketous Automated Sentry".

IMPORTANT: Do not use "Monster-in-the-Box" traps! Due to the NPC mechanism (or a bug), kills are not counted correctly and you won't get the achievement.

I'm so Hardcore!
Finish the game in Hardcore mode.


Requiem for a dream
Die with a level 45 or higher hardcore character.


If you finished the game in Hardcore mode without dying, you got 3 options:

1. Just die with your hardcore character
   
2. Create a new hardcore character and play until level 45
   
3. Make a backup of you savegame and restore your character after you got the achievement

Reach level 60 with an imported character from Van Helsing 1.


Monster Hunter Extraordinaire
Reach level 60 with a Hunter (character class).


The Wonderful Wizardov
Reach level 60 with a Thaumaturge (character class).

Reach level 60 with an Arcane Mechanic (character class).


League of extraordinary gentlemen
Reach level 60 with all three character classes (Hunter, Arcane Mechanic and Thaumaturge).


To get the achievements, just reach level 60 with each class. Keep in mind that you have to play the game on "Veteran" (level 30-60), not "Normal" (level 1-30). If you want to import a character from Van Helsing 1, select "Create" -> "Veteran" -> "Import" -> "Character".

Note: You can only import characters that are level 30!

You can be strong...
Reach 350 Body.


You can be fast...
Reach 350 Dexterity.


You can be smart...
Reach 350 Willpower.


...but its easier to be just lucky!
Reach 350 Luck.


Freakshow
Reach 350 with all four statistics accross any number of characters.


You should have enough stat points (and probably unlocked the first achievement) around level 50. To get the remaining achievements, simply go to the NPC and reset your stat points.

Note:

1. You only need 300 points, not 350.
   
2. Only base stats, items don't count.

Fetch!
Receive a Rare item from a Chimera hunt.


Completing the quest "Legend of the Chimera" gives you access to a Chimera that can be sent on special missions to find gold, items, potions and essences. The mission determines the chance to get rare items, so you should choose a mission with a high "Magic find" value.


Chimera of war
Let your chimera kill 500 enemies.


Unfortunately, your Chimera won't get kills during those missions, so you have to summon it every now and then to get 500 kills. There's an easy way to farm some kills though:

1. Max out the "Summon Chimera" trick
   
2. Equip your Chimera with the attack speed, damage and knockback candle
   
3. Start any Tower Defense mission
   
4. Summon your Chimera whenever possible

Tower Defense missions usually have many enemies at the same place and the AoE damage of your Chimera should get you some kills here.

Shopping spree
Earn 1000000 gold from Katarina's shopping trips.


To get this achievement, always send Lady Katarina back to the Lair, instead of selling the items yourself. Just change her behavior to loot all normal / magic items, give her all items you don't need and send her back to the Lair. Depending on the items in her inventory, she usually returns with 50000-200000 gold.


Easy come, easy go
Spend 10 million Gold.


You will get this achievement along with "A good catch". The fastest way to spend your gold is the enchanter, because (re-)enchanting the same item gets more expensive every time. This way you can easily spend 10 million gold with a single enchant.


Sarge, he keeps coming back!
Spend 1000000 Gold on resurrections.


Resurrections always cost 5% of your gold, so it's very likely that you will get the achievement sooner or later. Once you start doing Scenarios, you will get enough gold to unlock the achievement with a single resurrection.


A good catch
Collect 25 million gold with any character.


This achievement will take a while, but it gets a lot easier to collect gold once you reach the maximum level / get access to Scenarios. Depending on your gear, Scenario difficulty, conditions and bonuses (for winning Scenarios), you can easily get 2-3 million gold per Scenario map!

A hunter with style
Equip a full collection of Set items.


You will find many Set items throughout the game, so chances are good to get a complete set. Just use the chest in your Lair to store all items you don't want to equip for the moment.

Note:

1. You only have to equip all items of one set, not every item slot filled with set items!
   
2. If you find all secrets, you will get the full "Dungeonkeeper" set (4 pieces)

Just a sip
Drink 100 potions.


Maybe a few pints
Drink 1000 potions.


While it's easy to drink 100 potions, 1000 potions will take a while. For this reason, I really recommend using potions occasionally, even if you don't need them.


The scorched one
Explode 100 Chemical Tanks.


Chemical Tanks can only be found in the Foundry and are spread across the whole map. While it's possible to get the achievement during your first playthrough, I really don't recommend wasting your time here. You will enter the Foundry with each class (3 playthroughs) and while playing Scenarios, so you should get the achievement anyway.


Rage against the machines
Spend 10000 Rage points accross any number of playthroughs.


Kill enemies -> gain Rage points -> spend Rage points -> Kill enemies.
As long as you have "Auto-Powerup" enabled, you will get this achievement automatically.

Note: Imported characters start with their Rage points spent in VH1.


Glory of a legend
Earn 250.000 Reputation.


You get Reputation whenever you kill a special monster (Elite, Champion or Boss), so you will get the achievement automatically.

Note: Imported characters start with their Reputation from VH1.


Tough Cookie
Survive 1000 damage from a single attack.


Titanium Cookie
Survive 5000 damage from a single attack.


While it's easy to survive 1000 damage from a single attack, it's getting a bit more complicated with 5000 damage. Depending on your class, build and gear it's very likely that you won't even have 5000 HP until the endgame and once you start getting better gear / more HP, you also take less damage.

I recommend doing the achievement as melee Hunter in "Neverending Story" or "Scenario". Both game modes have some strong enemies and you can increase the difficulty / change your equipment, until you get the achievement.

Scenarios are part of the endgame content and can be accessed with level 57. Unfortunately, the achievement descriptions are not as accurate as they should be, because the term "Scenario" is used in different ways without further explanation. For this guide, the following definitions are used:


While the description always says "Complete a Scenario [...]" you actually have to complete a whole Scenario Campaign under the given conditions. You can see the required Scenarios on the following screenshot:




Real life is overrated
Complete 20 single player Scenario runs in the game.


The only achievement where they don't talk about a single Scenario. "Scenario run" has the same meaning as "Scenario Campaign", so you have to complete 60 Scenarios + 20 bosses.

Note:

• I recommend playing on Casual + Conditions 1

Ragtag Hero
Complete a Scenario without equipped Cape, Armor, Gloves and Boots.


This is by far the hardest Scenario achievement and can be really frustrating. Try to get some good gear first, avoid maps with time limit (Frenzy, Clue Hunt) and choose a class / build that can survive and still do some damage (e.g. Thaumaturge with "Ray of Entropy" build; high damage, damage reduction / immunity and self-heal).

Note:

• You can't get this achievement as Arcane Mechanic, because he has no Cape!
  
  
• I recommend playing on Casual + Conditions 1
  
• Keep in mind that you have to complete a whole Scenario Campaign!

Tough as a coffin nail
Complete a Scenario without dying.


While it's possible to get the achievement with every class / build, it's definitely easier as Hunter (Body) or Arcane Mechanic (Spider bots). If you can't complete a Scenario without dying yet, try to get some better gear first (e.g. runecrafting)!

Note:

• I recommend playing on Casual + Conditions 1
  
• Keep in mind that you have to complete a whole Scenario Campaign!

Simple ways
Complete a Scenario without using any Powerups.


This is one of the easier Scenario achievements, because you don't need Powerups most of the time. Just make sure to disable "Auto-Powerup" in the Options and don't use them manually.

Note:

• I recommend playing on Casual + Conditions 1
  
• Keep in mind that you have to complete a whole Scenario Campaign!

Hunter of hunters
Kill 100 Champion, Elite or Boss in Scenarios.


Champions and Elite monsters can be found in every Scenario, while Boss monsters only appear at the end of a Scenario Campaign (3rd linked Scenario). Since you have to kill them most of the time (because they attack you or as objective on "Purge" / "Clue Hunt"), you will get the achievement automatically.

You'll Never Walk Alone
Play with 20 different people in any multiplayer game mode.


To get this achievement, you have to be in the same game (or lobby) with 20 different people. Unfortunately, multiplayer is almost dead in this game, so you got 3 options now:

1. Ask friends / people on the forum to play together (recommended)
   
2. Open a game / lobby and wait for people to join
   
3. Just join and leave every open game you can find

Public enemy number one
Complete a game in every available multiplayer PvP game mode.


There are only 2 available PvP game modes (Battle Royal, Touchdown). Unfortunately you need 4 players to start a round of Touchdown and it's very unlikely to find a game or get enough players to join your lobby. If you want to get the achievement, find some people to help you!

Level required: 57!


The Core
Finish 20 PVP games.


You only have to finish 20 PVP games, no matter if there are other players or if you win / lose. Just create a new game, select "Battle Royal", Time Limit: 1 (minute) and start the game. After 60 seconds, the game will automatically end and you finished 1/20 games.

Level required: 57!




The Grim Reaper himself
Kill 500 other players in any PvP game mode.


You definitely need a friend to get this achievement, because you won't find any PvP game or people joining your game. Fortunately, you don't have to kill 500 different players...

Level required: 57!

Recommended settings:

St. Helsing
Heal other players for a total of 50.000 HP.


Basically, all you need is another player, "Arcane Healing" and something that's causing damage to you. The higher your level, the faster you get the achievement. As with all multiplayer achievements the hardest part is to find another player, so I recommend asking a friend or someone who also wants to do the multiplayer achievements.
